"To my shock, every employee was goofing around, looking at their phones while laughing, swearing, and recording another coworker who had batter smeared all over her face. They were having a ridiculous and unsanitary time while we were still waiting for food that hadn’t even been prepared. I was furious, especially since we were already late for another commitment.
When I inquired about my order, they finally got to work but didn’t even wash their hands first. I then asked to speak to the manager, and when an employee called for her, she ignored me. It took her a solid five minutes to come out, and she didn’t seem to care that I had now waited 15 minutes for my order. When I pointed it out, she casually said, "Oh really, 15 minutes?" I showed her the timestamp on my receipt, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the wait. Looking back, I should have just asked for a refund right then.
To top it all off, the food was absolutely disgusting and inedible, and it was more expensive than places like Chick-fil-A. I will definitely never return to Slim Chickens again."
