"We arrived at 5pm and were disappointed to hear that the restaurant was already out of short ribs and duck. It wasn't busy when we were there, so perhaps they had an early dinner rush. My husband ordered the trout, which was very small and only had a taste of lemon. It was quite flavorless, requiring him to add pepper and salt to make it edible. I opted for the honey Sriracha salmon, but couldn't taste either flavor much. However, at least it was cooked correctly. The sweet potatoes and green beans were tasty. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was cool."

"EXCELLENT FOOD! We arrived around 7 PM and were surprised to find the place nearly empty. Given how amazing the food is, I couldn't understand why! The flavors were rich and fresh, and the family running the restaurant was incredibly kind and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable, and dining in an old train car was such a fun experience—so charming! This is a must-try if you're in the area. I highly recommend it!"

The food was freshly prepared and served in generous portions that were just right, featuring delicious, crunchy vegetables. "Where to begin...I’ll start by reflecting on the fact that I didn’t expect to be impressed by this restaurant when we first walked in. It is attached to a hotel, and I thought it would be an okay dinner and probably a little overpriced. Well, I was wrong. The service was great. The food was REALLY good. The price for what we received was reasonable. I’m very happy that I chose this place for my wife’s birthday dinner, and we will be dining here again the next time we’re in Newport"

"I went to this restaurant today with a group of five. The food was good, but the service was terrible! When my friend asked the waiter some questions about the menu, he had no knowledge about it. She then requested a grilled cheese on a gluten-free bun, but was told it couldn't be done because the cooks didn't speak English well. I had to remind the waiter for dressing for my wings, as he had forgotten. The restaurant was not busy, with only 4 tables and 2 servers, yet the service was still extremely poor. Today was one of the top five worst service experiences I have ever had. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed!"
