"My child always wants to come here for Pooh's Picnic, which is a small hot chocolate topped with little cookies. It's delicious, especially with the Mexican chocolate and real whipped cream. They also have a great selection of sweets and last-minute gift items. Everything here is fantastic, particularly the burritos. However, if you're looking for a bagel, I recommend heading next door to Humble Bagel."

"I go here once a twice a week depending on my schedule, and I always love the overall vibe I get each time. There are days where it is super quiet and a great place to chill, and other times it is packed and hopping with energy. The staff is always super friendly and go the extra mile to make me feel welcome. Based on the time of day it can be hit or miss on the food selection, but there is always great coffee and tea available so it is workable. I would recommend this specific location highly and will keep going back."

"I am so sad to hear that Sumpter Junction closed. My first experience was decades ago, traveling back and forth between Salem, Oregon and Cortez, Colorado to take my wife to and from school every year. The place was magical, always bringing smiles to our faces. The train plus the local charm were a wonderful respite from the 22 hour drive. And I never, ever had a problem with the food. We were just planning a trip back down the highway again to a family reunion and wanted to share the experience with our daughter. I see when the posts ended and can guess what happened; like so many others, a great business died in the pandemic. Rebecca and I thank you for the memories. See you down the other side. "The main thing that stands out here is the service. Very friendly baristas and waitstaff, ready to take your order and totally informed and smiley at any hour of the morning. The food was good, unfortunately the coffee was not great. I don't know if the beans were too bitter or too much water in the Americano and the latte but tasted really bitter and funky. I know we should have gone back and just asked for a redo, but we had to get on the highway and get going. Super friendly staff, positive review because I know they would make it right if you have time to ask for it. Constructive feedback for the trainers and the owners spend some time training on the iced lattes and americanos, please. :"

"When I moved to the neighborhood two years ago, the owners were primarily handling the orders, which created a welcoming atmosphere. It was easy to ask for extra spices on my sandwiches. I have a unique taste in coffee, so I won’t criticize them for that. Unfortunately, my visits have become infrequent since I often travel abroad for extended periods. Now, it seems the new staff member in charge of orders has a serious case of resting face—there’s no greeting and not even a hint of effort to make the coffee run enjoyable. I’d much rather spend my money at corporate coffee shops that prioritize customer experience rather than supporting an unapproachable and unfriendly employee."

"If this review focused solely on the quality of the food and drinks, it would earn a solid 5 stars. Additionally, if I were assessing the majority of the baristas, it would also be a 5. However, my experience was marred by one particularly unpleasant barista who overcharged me. When I mentioned this to the owner, I discovered that the other baristas had actually been undercharging me! Yikes. To make matters worse, that rude barista was the one overcharging me. I also learned that prices would be increasing soon—gotta love inflation! It’s frustrating to have such a negative experience because of one barista."

"I always enjoy stopping by this place, especially at my favorite location in my hometown of Baker City. "I make it a point to stop at Sorbenots whenever I'm traveling through Baker City. My most recent visit was in early spring 2020, during the pandemic, and I've noticed they've decided to permanently close their indoor seating. So, if you’re hoping to relax inside like in some older photos, that won’t be possible. During my last visit, I used the drive-thru and received friendly service along with a nice cup of coffee and a cookie. I've also enjoyed their London Fog tea lattes. When it gets busy, the staff will step outside to take orders, similar to how Dutch Bros operates."

"While waiting for a Muni bus at Diamond and Bosworth in the Glen Park neighborhood, I came across Bello Coffee Tea. The strong aroma of coffee drew me in, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere inside. The decor is a charming mix of wood, glass, and brass. The freshly ground coffee was excellent, and I also indulged in a fresh pastry from their display case. Bello Coffee Tea will now be my go-to cafe whenever I find myself in the Glen Park area, thanks to their top-notch products, friendly service, and inviting ambiance."

"BEST dark roasters in Santa Fe!!! After finding them I thought I would just experiment and see if there were any other dark coffee roasters in town and they all told me the same thing if you're looking for dark, Ohori'si s the only place to go!!!!
