"I had a fairly average experience at Bua. The tom kha soup was good and tasted authentic, but the larb lacked spice and flavor—make sure to request it spicy if that’s what you prefer. I understand that restaurants need to cater to a wider audience, which sometimes leads to changes in traditional dishes (like the inclusion of Sesame Chicken), but it feels like a missed opportunity to stick with the authentic flavors. Charging extra for rice is always disappointing, and the service left something to be desired. On a positive note, the decor is quite tasteful, especially considering the place used to be a fast-food restaurant. Overall, it was just okay. As for kid-friendliness, they do have high chairs available."
