"After a ridiculously long wait at another restaurant my boyfriends dad called Fairview Cafe to see if we could get a late reservation. They got us in in a timely manner and sat us almost immediately after arriving. It had been quite a run around with the other restaurant but once we got to Fairview the night just kept getting better. From the second we turned into the parking lot the atmosphere went from “being on the water” to “being in the woods”, which was a beautiful change. The restaurant was gorgeous. The wooden beams and fireplace were so breathtaking, if your into that kind of thing. Our server Sarah was attentive, personable and had a great personality. During our short wait between ordering and the food arriving the owner came out and talked to us for a bit about his, his wife and the restaurants story. Then came the food! Everything we had was AMAZING but it was really all the things combined that made the experience a 5 star kind of night!"
