"First time trying Mexican food in NYC and to my surprise, it was really good! I had the steak burrito, everything was tasteful! Maybe if they made a wet burrito it’ll be better but I won’t complain. "This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and sets the benchmark for classic greasy spoons. The breakfast dishes are expertly crafted and sure to please. Lunch is just as fantastic. In short, everything they make is incredibly delicious. Just a heads-up: you might want to have a chat with your cardiologist beforehand, as one visit could easily push you to your yearly cholesterol limit. But that’s the charm of a greasy spoon! The interior is tiny—there’s no other word for it—but the nostalgic round counter stools can comfortably accommodate about seven or eight people. If only they would start dine-in service again; they have yet to reopen since the pandemic."
