"The service was good, but the food left much to be desired. The chips and salsa arrived chilled, straight from the fridge, and the salsa lacked any real flavor. The spicy sweet plantains wrapped in bacon seemed pre-made and were quite dried out. The chimichanga was not crispy enough, slightly salty, and served lukewarm rather than hot. The birria taco was decent, but the accompanying consomme was underwhelming and needed more tang and spices. Overall, it felt like most dishes were pre-prepared and merely reheated. The review received two stars primarily because the staff was professional, and our host/waiter was kind and attentive, plus the restaurant was clean. I hope they can improve the quality of their food."
