"I first visited Ziggy's at the 21st Street location about a month ago for a birthday lunch, and I was impressed by some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. However, my experience at the 13th Street location was quite disappointing. We went in on St. Patrick's Day around 7 PM, and the place didn’t seem too busy. As we entered, we weren't greeted and weren’t sure if we should wait to be seated or find a table ourselves. Eventually, one of the waitresses informed us that we could sit wherever we liked.
After about 10 minutes, we finally received menus, and it took another 5 to 10 minutes for someone to take our drink orders. Our waitress didn't ask if we wanted appetizers, but I managed to flag her down as she was walking away to place an order. Although the drinks and appetizer arrived in a reasonable time, the service then went downhill. Our waitress had only three other tables to attend to, yet she passed by us several times without stopping to take our order or inquire if we needed drink refills (my husband did). Instead, she was frequently seen hanging out, disappearing behind the bar, and even looking at her phone.
After waiting for about 45 minutes for our order to be taken, we had enough. My husband started to get cash out to cover our drinks and appetizer, ready to leave, when our waitress finally returned to take our order. At that point, we were extremely frustrated and simply requested our bill so we could exit."
