"On Valentine’s Day, we had the pleasure of dining here for the first time. The owner, Greg Metcalfe, is very involved in the operations, and it shows. Everything is incredibly fresh, which is why, by 7 PM, they had already run out of peel-and-eat shrimp! We chose a bottle of New Zealand Pinot Grigio, but unfortunately, the two selections of Pinot Grigio were already sold out. The house Pinot Grigio was quite enjoyable, though. For starters, we had the fried green tomatoes and French onion soup, both of which were outstanding. For our main course, we enjoyed the featured steak Diane, which was also excellently prepared. We highly recommend Southern Comfort for a casual dining experience."
