"On May 10, 2021, masks became optional inside the café, resulting in significantly better customer service compared to other shops that still require them—like Firecreek Coffee just a few blocks away, which had awful service. The espresso quality here was excellent and the staff was both friendly and highly capable. Honestly, the foam on my latte was divine. They offer a wider variety of pastries than many other coffee shops, including cinnamon rolls, danishes, muffins, scones, and more—so if you’re looking for diet or low-fat options, you won’t find them here. Lastly, this is the first coffee shop I’ve visited in months where the staff kindly accommodated a request for hot water to prepare ceremonial cacao, allowing us to add a touch of milk foam on top.
