"I took my daughter to Silver Dollar for a special afternoon together on her only day off, but our experience was ruined by the owner engaging in an inappropriate conversation with an ultra-conservative couple. I really don’t care about your political views; I just wanted to enjoy some quality time with my daughter. They were being excessively loud, and at one point, the wife even yelled at her husband to stop talking so she could have her say. Things quickly escalated from there. I didn’t come here to listen to opinions on gender identity or jokes about political matters like the Florida governor sending immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. It’s important for establishments to remember that their guests are there to have a good time. Unfortunately, we decided to leave early, which was disappointing since I had planned to buy at least two bottles of wine to take home. Clearly, my business wasn’t needed. I’ll look for another winery where my daughter and I can enjoy the experience we were hoping for."
