"I work in downtown Jackson and have been dining at Ole Tavern for nearly four years. I've tried everything on their menu and have never been disappointed or had to send anything back. I particularly love their Pimento and Cheese BLT, any of their soups, and jumbo shrimp, and their daily specials are always a great option. I've never experienced rude service! If you visit during their busy lunch hours, the servers are often preoccupied with the lunch rush and may not have time for a lengthy chat about your week. However, regardless of how hectic things get, they have always been friendly and accommodating to me and anyone I’ve dined with."
