"This restaurant was very close to my hotel where I was staying in New York, and thus I had taken parcels from this place couple of times. The restaurant is kind of no-nonsense, with a very cheap price tags. At $6 one can get four pieces of crispy fried chickens with good amount of fried rice. Service time is really quick, even during the peak time too. Food is very average, to say the truth. "Last night, we satisfied our Chinese food cravings with our favorite place, How Lee! The food was prepared perfectly, arrived on time, and was as hot as could be! I used my steam-releasing technique, as always, and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Dragon Phoenix, which comes without vegetables and consists of General Tso's chicken and hot and spicy shrimp served with white rice—just the right level of heat! They don't win awards for nothing, folks; this food is incredible. I can’t wait to dine in at the restaurant again—you just can't beat the experience. My wife ordered the large chicken and broccoli with no rice or noodles, plus an egg roll. Happy wife, happy life—it's a win-win! This lady loves her Chinese food!"

"I've wanted to here since I was a kid. And I wasn't disappointed. The decor is reminiscent of the twenties. It's a bit over the top in decor but that's what I hoped for and was not disappointed. The staff was very good. The hostess was kind enough to bring us upstairs to see the glass bear. I think it would be fun to sit up there and drink some cocktails. The food was very good. I had the mushroom stuffed crepe to start, followed by the chicken Kiev, which was fairly good. A bit salty but enjoyable. I had the Prince Vladymir tea, which was excellent. Citrus, vanilla and spices oh my! Topped off with some cherries. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a bit of romance and nostalgia."

"I like large fried rice with pork and shrimp. I never feel like it 's enough so I always ask for $5 more pork AND $5 more shrimp. I have placed this exact order at MANY Chinese restaurants from the Bronx to Brooklyn and they always tell me that it 's so much that they actually have to put it in a short alluminum pan. This place gave it to me in the regular large box ? she put the bag on the counter and I felt like I was obligated to follow through with the order so I paid the $30.50 but I was walking to the door and everything was saying NO DEAL . I apologized a few times and asked for a refund. (Never made it out the door, definitely didn 't touch the food or even box. Just plastic bag) she was LIVID snatched the bag tossed the money on the counter. I didn 't think that was necessary but I understood her frustration. This spot just isn 't for me. Plus $30 and no free Beverage."

"I received an incorrect order and when I asked them to replace the white rice with fried rice, they insisted that I come back to the restaurant to do so. I informed them that my food was cold when I got home, but they refused to correct my order and even insisted that I would have to return the entire order. I will never return to this restaurant, and I will make sure to warn others not to eat here!"

"This is by far the worst Chinese food I?ve had in a while, not to mention over priced. Maybe an even worst value proposition. We ordered 6 wings, boneless spare ribs platter combo and shrimp and garlic sauce combo which totaled $38 with tax. The spareribs were completely burnt on both sides barely edible. The shrimp tasted horrible, almost a soap like after taste. The rice was gummy as if reheated. The wonton soup was doughy and broth had no seasoning. Even the egg rolls were stale for Christ sakes, no to mention bad chicken wings, how do you make bad tasting fried wings? We didn?t even get fortune cookies, like really. I hate leaving bad reviews and rarely even review but I had to take the time to let it be known."

"I spent $30 on a $22 meal through Uber Eats just to avoid going out. Unfortunately, Legend messed up my order and claimed it was a mistake from the kitchen, suggesting I pick up the correct order myself. So I ended up paying for delivery and still had to go get the right food. When I arrived, one of the employees rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Times are tough right now, and every dollar counts. The money and gas I used for one meal could have bought me three."

"My wife and I always love the food here and the garlic lo mein in particular is fantastic. I'd like to add that we called to ask if the pineapple fried rice was vegetarian friendly (it is) and the staff were kind enough to call back to make sure eggs were okay with us. They really didn't have to do that but the fact that they went out of their way to do so really speaks volumes about the people working here and how they care about their customers. I can say that this Long Beach Chines restaurant is on top of the line! Please don’tmiss out at all! "The food was delicious!! I ordered the Wonton soup which had such a calming broth, the Orange chicken had real orange peels, the chicken wings were cooked with a light batter, the beef on a stick was flavorful and tender, the egg foo yung had big portions for a small, even the mein noodles were so yummy!! "First I have to say the delivery was extremely fast, I ordered at 7:24pm and they were knocking at my door at 7:36pm. Guy who took the order was extremely nice almost too nice, and the driver was very nice also. Food is average, shrimp teriyaki was good but a bit salty, beef lomaein was fairly average also. I was really hoping the food would blow me away since the folks were so nice. Not scratching them off my list just will try something different next time!"
