"My boyfriend and I just bought a house here. We are quickly discovering Scranton food is … weird. This pizza is one of the better pizzas we’ve had (out of maybe 12 pizzerias). We ordered NY style since he lived there as a boy and frankly the other pizza had American cheese on it, which is disgusting. There was this weird flavor though specifically with the cheese. It tasted like Kraft Mac N Cheese powder! Why does everything here have the flavor that it once came from a box? This is not the apocalypse yet guys. Additionally, they clearly use jarred garlic rather than fresh when ordered on (the other) pie. It tastes super sharp. Everyone in Scranton seems to be getting away with mediocrity. I don’t see this is sustainable. This place was okay otherwise though. Great crust. Okay sauce. Mostly good cheese."

"EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE! I stopped by to pick up lunch, and the place was bustling, which is a great indication. The kitchen staff were hard at work but still very welcoming. I was particularly impressed by Brian, who was multitasking by answering phones, processing payments, and cooking in the oven all on his own. He certainly deserves a raise! Thank you, Brian, for the incredible pizza and warm hospitality. I will definitely be back!"

"I am extremely disappointed! This used to be our favorite pizza place. We have also tried their pasta and sandwiches, which were always delicious. However, the last two times we ordered pizza, we were very disappointed. The first time we thought it was just a bad night for them. We decided to give it another try two weeks later, but it was just as bad. The crust was uneven, thick in the middle and thin on one side. The onions were not even cooked properly. We ordered sausage and onions on top, but while the sausage was hot, the onions were cold."

"We visited Bella Notte for the third time to see the band Taboo. We traveled from Westchester for this special occasion. Out of our group of 8, 6 were first-time visitors. We all had a great time enjoying drinks at the bar before being seated for dinner. We were all pleased with our meals, as well as our waitress Regina. The highlight of the night was definitely the band Taboo, which everyone loved. We hope to see them perform again in the future so we can come back. The only small issue we encountered was that the busboys could use some improvement in clearing tables."

"It was around 9:30 pm ,was staying in the Courtyard, which is located around the corner behind Buckhead Pizza. I wanted a slice of pizza but the don’t serve single slices. Sat down at a table ordered personal Supreme pizza, it actually was pretty good. It’s on a thin crust. The menu is more then pizza, from Appetizers, sandwiches,pasta dishes more. The server was great, he was by himself had a few tables, but still kept checking to see if everything was okay. The also have a bar area that was crowded. Would go here again if staying in the area."

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"Service was very attentive at first then once food was served it seems as though they forgot about us. Had to ask for a to go box and the check several times. Chicken parm was extremely rubbery- seems like frozen chicken breast that wasn’t defrosted properly. Pasta and sauce was good but chicken was horrible. $80+ for a meal shouldn’t taste worse than Olive Garden. I’ve been coming to this location since I was a child but it seems like quality has gone downhill. Very disappointing."

"I’m an out of towner. Was there Motzei Shabbos and had the Margarita slice-It was outstanding!!! Noticed that some of the locals were enjoying their pastas. I must say that their pasta dishes looked to me to be on point. Will be visiting with the family and try a bit of it all. Can’t wait! "placed one order for two via uber, totaling $40, which was just 2 coffee and breakfast. I noticed that I couldn't get real-time updates because they do everything in the house, which is usually not a problem for me. I ordered at 8:30 with 9:00 9:20 clock arrival. at 9 o'clock it still says that my order is being prepared. I'm trying to call, but the phone number on the phone is wrong. Finally they find the phone number online and when I get through the guy on the phone tells me that my order is both on the way and that he order me now (red flag). he confirms my coffee order and says he should be here soon. at 9:50 clock I get a text from the restaurant that they have received my job and now prepare it 20 minutes eta. this is an hour after ordering and almost 30 minutes after the phone with restaurant. uber doesn't let me cancel because the restaurant has already begun to prepare the order so that I now try to call the restaurant again. I nenne twenty six times and no answer. when somone finally answers, I can hear the sound of the restaurant in the background and yet no one answers me. around 10:28 clock I get a message from the restaurant that the order is on the way. uber finally breaks off because they cannot get in touch either. scammers never order from here."

"I have been going here for years. The family prefers the pizza over other local options. Lately, we have been getting specialty slices instead of pies. The buffalo chicken is a spicy favorite. I don’t remember how I started but I tried a cheesesteak and it is really good. Perfect for when he family wants pizza and I already had it for lunch!"

"We had a rather mixed experience at Mandaloun. We waited at the hostess stand for nearly 15 minutes before we were acknowledged and seated. After that, it took another 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order, and around 15 to 20 minutes more for our drinks to arrive. We also waited about 30 minutes for our food. On a positive note, the staff members were very friendly. The food was quite good—I had the Bronzino, which was delicious. Perhaps they were short-staffed during our visit. I would recommend that they improve their service and consider lowering the lighting; it was a bit too bright, especially with a flickering fluorescent light overhead."

"Great place ... great pictures on the walls of Las Vegas and New York....Fans in the ceiling keep it very cool to sit and eat. The garlic knots are yummy ? the butter and parmesan cheese with the marinara sauce are perfect!!! I ordered the Calzone for lunch?? was the look on my face when they brought it out to the table.....more than enough for three to eat.....lol the mozzarella and ricotta loaded the inside of the crust..I added the pepperoni and salami to the ham inside....very generous portions of everything. Perfection!!!"
