"This restaurant has been closed for quite a while now, and I have visited it numerous times in the past. I've even introduced others to this spot. Whenever I mention "Disco Fries," it's this place that I reference. Unfortunately, I can't provide any concrete evidence of its greatness without it being open. I understand that it's challenging, especially considering the remarkable person who made this place special—he is no longer with us, and his absence is deeply felt. Many people, including myself, miss Jeff greatly. His impact on the community will always be remembered, and the longing for Rt 58's return is palpable among its former patrons. The food! The atmosphere! The excellence he brought to the food scene in Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads is irreplaceable. I find it difficult to describe the incredible Reubens and sandwiches without others experiencing them firsthand. It’s only fair to the people who loved this place to assure them that my previous enthusiasm was genuine, reflecting the remarkable food we all miss so much. As a voice for all RT 58 Deli fans, I sincerely hope it comes back and brings back the joy it once provided to so many!"
