"Food was great and the restaurant is so cute ! The only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars is because I called a week in advanced for a reservation and once we arrived they sat us pretty late saying that there is a wait. We waited at the bar in the meantime while our table was getting ready. Once we sat down, no one really came up to us to order anything for a while. We wanted some chips and salsa and we asked the waiter if we can get some he then said it’s by request only so we said ok we are requesting chips and salsa then. Everyone else seemed to have faster service than us."

Not everyone wants a strong drink; Some of us enjoy a well-balanced drink. Although the manager offered to give the drink away, it was not drinkable. We will not return. Also, the food did not taste authentic. This was the worst dining experience we've ever had. The server was inattentive, our food was incorrect when it arrived, and the drink was made with the wrong alcohol and over-poured. Not everyone wants a strong drink; some of us enjoy a well-balanced beverage. Although the manager offered to buy the drink, it was undrinkable. We won't be returning. Additionally, the food did not taste authentic."

"I visited with several of my girlfriends. It was our first time and our waiter took the time to make suggestions and explain popular dishes. He was so helpful and made our experience really great! Several of us ordered the juice smoothies. I got the guava and I’m still dreaming about it. One girlfriend got the soursop and she was so happy because she had not tasted it in years. I started with the beef empanada and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. It topped each bite with this amazing sauce they had on the table. I got the mini Bandeja Vieja as my main and it was so good. Everyone loved their food and each plate had huge portions. I’m definitely coming back!"

"I visited El Heroico Guaymas Pescaderia and decided to order two large fried fish from the menu. Unfortunately, they were overcooked, making them difficult to chew. To make matters worse, the fish were only about the size of my hand—very small. When I asked the waiter about this, he responded, "Oh, the tilapia doesn't come in a specific size?!" My husband received a large fish, but mine did not meet my expectations. It seems unfair that they can serve any size while I specifically requested a large one. I paid the same price for what was ultimately a disappointing meal. The dish was mostly filled with fries and contained very little fish. I didn’t even receive a discount for my complaint. I’m giving El Heroico Guaymas Pescaderia two stars because the spices were good, but I was really hoping for a better experience, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations."

"Quick options ratio Quick I was flying out of Lincoln airport with a crew from the Air Force. We were delayed 2 hours due to a maintenance issue. So we went to grab lunch. We had 12 people and were in and out in within 60 70 minutes. Options Their menu is 4 5 pages. Therefore, you have tons of options. I had the chicken steer tacos which were pretty good given the price point. They are relatively small, and a standard order has 4 tacos. Ratio overall given the price point to ratio of food, this restaurant is the perfect stop in lunch or snack spot. Pro tip: the service is great and the staff works really quick. Pro tip: it's easy to miss because it's right beside a gas service station"
