"The ice cream was tasty, but the service left much to be desired, especially since it was our first visit. On a Saturday afternoon, we were one of only two families present, and the woman behind the counter was quite snappy, giving short and rude responses. There was a table in the middle of the room designed to manage the flow of the line, obviously not meant for dining. I briefly placed my 9-month-old son on it to adjust his clothing, and she shouted from across the room, rudely telling me to take him off the table. It could have been communicated in a much friendlier manner.
When my husband approached the counter to order, he told her what he wanted, and she asked which type of cone he preferred. He inquired about the options, and her reply was essentially a curt "What kind of cone, sir?" After asking for the choices again, she responded by rolling her eyes to the left. There was an assortment of cones displayed above one of the ice cream cases, which neither of us had noticed. He finally chose a cone, she handed us our ice cream, and we left.
Given the way she treated us, we certainly won’t be returning. My family works in the restaurant industry, and I would never want any of my employees to treat customers that way."
