"we have been here for over twenty years and have always appreciated this important local venue. especially we enjoy the large terrace on the lake in warmer months. it is delightful to take live music and dune in a beautiful outdoor environment. consistently we had a great service. it was very busy at our last visit a few weeks ago on a Saturday night. but our waitress was friendly and nice; she was also contemporary with her services. even she didn't talk to us, even if others wanted our mainstream music. the charcuterie board is worth the $18. we were served a nice selection of cold cut meat, olive, cheese and cracker, fresh grapes and dried cranberries. it's enough for three. the walleye platter is probably my favorite dinner entrée. it is consistent pan meerrot, ideal to do and served with a fresh lemon cream sauce, and two sides of their choice. I chose the Brussel sprouts with speck and swirl. it is very delicious (but a tade too fat for me). it is a popular place at the weekend and great for events. my local chamber often comes here, and they offer an ideal environment as well as great drinks and appetizers. the weeping and mimics are very good. it is nice to see that they extend the menu to time. we tried the very popular fried pickles – but were disappointed. most likely we are spoiled by having them recently in destin, florida at different places where they were absolutely fabulous. lots of parking. they can use their phone to access their online menu online; we asked for traditional kopien that are somewhat more expansive and our waitress was fast to bring them. the venue and the music are exceptional, especially if they can sterling and catch others with a significant performance experience."
