"As for the food—excellent! I tried the Birria tacos and the Cali tacos along with some fries, and the flavor absolutely makes up for the lack of warmth behind the counter. Despite the staff’s disinterest, I would definitely return for the great food. The pineapple habanero sauce was deliciously sweet with a spicy kick, and I wish I could buy a bottle of it! There was some confusion about whether the staff clears the tables or if it’s up to the customers, so we went ahead and cleaned up ourselves. I can't wait to try more items on the menu. Edit: Who is in charge of the fish tank? It could use some care."

"The stag was amazing and great. The atmosphere is just genuinely amazing. Now as for the pricing for the food note if you do not pay cash there is 3.6% additional charge to your meal. So I ordered the 2 meat combo plate fatty sliced brisket (up charge there, 4 ribs up charge. I get it more than anything on the ribs being up charge which I travel and that is just basic. But for the size of these ribs I would have given only .25 for them. Chilis has bigger baby back ribs than this place. There was no flavor at all to any of this meat except for salt. Fatty brisket was not even juicy or tender only one slice actually at all smoke ring to it let alone taste liquid smoke flavor to it. The coleslaw was another thing here made me feel like I didn’t have to chew it at all. It’s like they got a head of cabbage and coleslaw dressing and went into the blender and add sugar hit frappe. I felt like I paid 19.10 for a plate of mushed coleslaw a baked potato with 2 pieces of cornbread. They base the meat combo off of chopped chicken and chopped pork. So yeah not a place for me to ever go again."

"There are so many good choices for elevated dining in this small community (e.g., Bistro 217), you could easily overlook the black sheep: PIT. The theme may be pure dive bar, but PIT is an extremely well-run restaurant with surprisingly good food and fun choices (hmm, PBR draft or a glass of Sonoma Cutrer chardonnay, great pour for under $10 On a recent visit, I had their awesome crab cake, served with red grapes (refreshing touch), a decent slaw, and a rocking home-made potato salad. Outstanding value at $14, and my server was professional and friendly. So, follow the dirt driveway that looks like the wrong turn in every horror movie ever made, feel your expectations take a nose-dive, and then enjoy the surprise of great hospitality."

"They have racist employees working there. They are not for the black people In the community and I speak not only for myself, but the majority of the black community in Pawleys Island. Train your staff that the paying customer comes first and that whatever you have on a menu price wise, you have to acknowledge that to the customers. It's a shame how they treat local people especially the black people who live in the same community."

"The Pit BBQ grille is a must try place. Nice staff and a menu that is sure to please a lot. However, me not being a pork loving person I found the menu did not have too much to offer my specific tastebuds. Although, the chicken wings and chicken Philly were spot on for a true chicken and cheese lover. The sweet tea is to die for and the BBQ sauce is something Sweet Baby Ray's fear. Therefore, I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some good ol BBQ food on the north side of Columbus."
