"Two of us went to dinner last night. At prime time all the tables were filled, but the wait was only about 10 minutes. The dining since is fairly small with a mixture of booths, bar, tables and high tables. The food was good, but thought the kitchen was slow to deliver. We started off with the deep fried pickled jalapenos. The batter was a bit odd. I had the Pepper Crusted Burger and my wife had the grit dip (French dip). I was expecting more like ground peppercorns and a more spice. It was lacking that full flavored crust you normally look for. Luckily, I still had some of the pickled jalapenos that I added to the Burger. The server was fairly prompt and refilled my water when it was empty. I guess I was thirsty because it was 3 times during our experience. I never ventured into the bathroom, so I'm not sure where, what what it looked like. I will be coming back to try again and some of the other items that looked good."
