"It was Mothers day , so I expected it to be busy. The food was fair, not as good as expected. The breadxwas warm and good. Our appetizers were crab stuffed mushrooms and calamari. The mushrooms were great, calamari was rubbery. Mom's entree was crab stuffed shrimp, it was rubbery. My daughter loved her raw fish plate. The kids ordered Mac and cheese, it was Kraft?. I had the prime rib, it didn't have much flavor and was on the tough side. Mom loved her cosmo cocktails. Our server was very attentive . Overall, mom was happy. I think it was the cosmo cocktail!"

"Ashamed to say this being a local. Today 7/7/2024 was my first experience having a Spanky's meal and let me say, I was not disappointed. My daughter took me for breakfast after church. When we walked in, there were only three large tables available as all the other smaller sets were occupied by happy, eating and chattering customers. The server we had, I'm sorry she told me her name and I forgot it, greeted us with a smile and was very kind. As busy as it was she did not rush us to get our order nor did she ignore our presence. She took our order with a smile and our food arrived in a surprisingly fast time frame, was hot and delicious. She attended to us and she asked how we were doing when we didn't have a mouth full of food??. Spanky's you gained a new customer today, I will definitely be back. Next time I will try lunch or dinner."

"We stopped at this restaurant on our way to Cleveland. The server was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in my wife's order, but the server apologized and even comped the meal. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's how they handle them that shows the quality of a place. They did everything they could to rectify the situation promptly. The food was very good overall."

"I've been here twice. The first time I have the Californian Burger. Today I have the Buffalo Style Chicken Sandwich. Both were amazing. Even the frits were perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside, but fluffy on the inside. The garlic fries were great. I know I'm not alone. Someone just came by and I heard he told one of the employees, my sandwich was amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is comfortable, well furnished and very clean. The staff cleanses tables immediately after the customer's departure. There is also a large outdoor terrace. It's summer now, but it looks like they have heating out there. You have a big menu. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast."

"The staff at this restaurant is extremely rude, and the manager is highly unprofessional. She even followed us out of the restaurant after we experienced racism. They denied me access to the bathroom simply because I'm Black, even though I was wearing a work vest. This is definitely not a suitable place for families or children. The employees are unfriendly and tense, lacking professionalism, and it seems they have a bias against Black individuals."

"Would definitely return. Food was not crazy remarkable but was not bad either. Rotating specials are always a good sign of something made with care. The bacon was honestly significantly better than just fried crispy bacon but this pig was happy to be bacon. Service was great. Our waitress was the one with the cute pink nails and she was lovely. Provided honest suggestions and was helpful with some service stipulations. The atmosphere is great just a historic building-turned bistro so that the dining room is kinda small. Nbd."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! I've visited a few times, and I've never been let down. My friend and I attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and I remarked to her, "You can tell you’re at a fantastic place when it feels like every ten minutes someone is hugging someone else, whether it's the staff or the guests. "The French dish was delightful, and the bread was wonderfully fresh. The Thai salad was huge, but sadly, they only gave a small spoonful of dressing, which was barely enough for a quarter of the salad. The beef empanadas were filled with delicious meat, but it was disappointing that everything arrived cold, even though the delivery driver was early. Despite that, I would still order from here again."

"I visited on a Sunday shortly after opening and had the lovely experience of being tended to by Roberto at the bar. He constantly checked on me and made sure I always had my glasses full! I got the mimosa flight--they were amazing, from the delicious flavors and the fresh fruit juice they make them with, these are definitely the best mimosas I've had in the bay area! I got the Hawaiian pancakes which were also very tasty and filling. Plenty of parking, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and lots of great brunch choices on the menu. It was not busy when I arrived at 715 but when I left at 830 the cafe was full of people so recommend arriving early for your choice of seats and a quieter atmosphere since Toast is popular and for good reason!Parking: Located within a strip of businesses, there is a decent sized free parking lot. There were plenty of available spaces early in the morning when I arrived."

"Do not hesitate to visit this restaurant first! It deserves 10 stars. The food is authentic Italian and reminds me of my mom's and grandmother's cooking. The atmosphere is simple yet elegant, and the staff is wonderfully friendly. The prices are great for the value you receive. The Caesar salad is incredible (especially with anchovies), the best I've had at a restaurant. The meatballs made with beef, pork, and veal are delicious. The Cioppino dish with squid, mussels, clams, and shrimp has a broth to die for. The white wine is truly excellent, and the Tiramisu is also top-notch. My family and I enjoyed our meal here so much, it was truly a memorable experience."

"Avoid the chain restaurants and take a quick detour from 495. We were greeted by a fantastic and experienced staff who provided excellent service. The menu had plenty of options for both kids and adults. Although we arrived toward the end of breakfast service, we discovered several delicious choices, including some amazing French toast. I even considered staying for lunch when I saw the cheeseburger special advertised on the board. I'll definitely return for that next time! We also had a lovely chat with the owner, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!"
