"C Casa Taqueira is located within the Oxbow market, and recently it moved alongside Hog Island Oysters to the rear part of the Oxbow market. It has now become a take-off (always had this option) and a sit-down restaurant. What makes this place incredible is all they do is gluten free, which is great for many, like no chances or cross-contamination. Breakfast Tacos are your savior on your trip in Napa. Trust me... come here after you get a coffee in ritual, take some breakfast tacos and prepare your body for the long day. Tacos are excellent — they are going hard on Cilantro, so ask for light cilantro or no one if you are like me. Bakery Doughnuts are all gluten-free. Advanced menu is great, and an improvement of the limited options before. New dining area has a different menu, but still good. Excellent options are all gluten-free. Come here."

"Visit #1 I pass this restaurant all the time and have somehow never noticed it. We noticed it on the drive to a different restaurant tonight and decided to change plans and give it a try. I?m glad we did! We got the Wednesday night special- ultimate margaritas- and they were good and at a decent price. We also tried their molcajete. I?m newly obsessed with this dish and this is the third restaurant I?ve found that has it. It was good but not as flavorful as other restaurants I?ve had it in, unfortunately those restaurants were nowhere near Middletown, so I?ll definitely be back. Looking forward to trying other menu options, too. Visit #2 After trying the molcajete on trip one, I wanted to see what other menu options were like and went back tonight. We got taquitos, beef tacos, and el pastor tacos. It was all pretty flavorless and not the quality I was hoping for. After tonight?s meal, I unfortunately don?t think I need to make a third trip. Service is fast and friendly and drinks are very reasonably priced, if I do go back it?ll be for happy hour and not a meal."

"This place is a disaster! I love Baja Fresh and it was a disappointment to stop there on our travels. Our order was wrong. FOUR times! The girl who rang us up and took the order was rude. We walked in. She looked at us, and then went back to putting together a “to go” order. It looked large. I understand that. But was surprised at her attitude. I waited while she put four orders of chips in bags. and decided, we will use the restroom then since she was so busy. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting. That should have been my red flag to leave. But we were tired and still ordered. When we went back. She was still doing to goes. I actually had to ask her- “ hey do you see me?” That’s how long we waited. She glanced over and said. “I’m busy I’ll be with you in a minute.” Well- it was over five minutes and not till another rush came in standing behind us that she walked over to take our order. She was so rude. Made mistakes on taking in the order. Then once the order came out- it was wrong and I’m glad I checked before we drove off. I had to run back in and have them correct it. I looked for a manager to complain to, but it looked like she was the manager. Oh my heck. I can’t believe anyone would have that kind of person running a shift. Love Baja Fresh, but will NEVER go back to this one. My husband ran multiple restaurants similar to this and he couldn’t believe it. Someone needs to check in on their stores and get rid of some bad eggs."

"Pork belly was amazing. Don’t skip the biscuits, fluffy, crunchy and perfect with the butter and jam. The beer can chicken wasn’t overly flavored, just a sprinkle of salt on the potatoes really brought the flavors together and The BOB for desert, was chocolatey, decadent and delicious. Wonderful meal complete with manager check-ins for quality and chats about craft beers. Wonderfully relaxing experience. Kind of missed the popcorn that they used to serve before apps, but never disappointed with a visit here."

"I came here for dinner on a Saturday evening with my wife and my 2 very good friends from the local area. I came to Pancho 's knowing it wasn 't going to be authentic Mexican so my expectations weren 't that of what I had in say SoCal. That was fine I wasn 't expecting to be have authentic so this review in no way is going to be a complaint of how this place isn 't like the restaurants in SoCal. I 'm not in SoCal and my disclaimer isn 't such that I was expecting such. There is potential at this place to be better than they were when we visited however and it comes in the sense that there were simple issues that could have been resolved and I believe that it mostly had to do with the service and not the food. I was rather happy with the food overall and I did not leave disappointed, hungry nor did I leave feeling cheated but rather just neglected for lack of a better term. The chips with salsa came before we ordered anything else. My friends had ordered guacamole. To start things off we had all ordered water with lemon for drinks. To me that 's a rather simple request and not something that is uncommon or demanding. My friend also ordered some sort of mango drink which was served in a mason jar type glass. I also ordered a Corona as well. The bar drinks came rather quickly. The guac was dropped of by somebody else besides our server. Well we had a pitcher of water dropped off actually it was rather slammed down at our table with 4 stacked glasses that we were to pour for ourselves. This was served to us by another server, not our server. We didn 't receive any lemon. We didn 't see our assigned server again until it was time to receive all of the mains we ordered. My friends ordered 4 tacos each so they had a total of 8 and my chimichanga came with my sides and my wife 's fish tacos (baja catfish style) came with her sides. My friend who had noticed the tacos didn 't come with any lime asked that we have some lemon and lime. The lime was for his and his wife 's tacos (8 tacos) and the lemons were for our water (all 4 of us). Our server only returned with 2 lemon and 2 lime slices. I 'm sorry but the simplest of requests to have lemon water wasn 't fulfilled because we didn 't even have enough lemon for 4 glasses. My friend had 2 lime slices for 8 tacos. I told my friend I would forget about the lemon for my water since I had a lime in my beer. My food was good. I was however expecting my chimichanga to be crispy. While it seemed as if it was somewhat fried it didn 't really seemed to be deep friend and if it was, it wasn 't long enough to actually make the wrap crispy. This chimichanga on the menu is actually their special menu as a burrito which they will turn into a chimichanga (by frying my impression). It was OK but not like any chimichanga I 've ever had and yes this includes non SoCal Tex Mex type places. The food was good overall but the service was lacking. It was friendly, but I felt our needs were not really paid attention to nor was I felt to be totally satisfied with the service. If I have to feel like something was left out or something was forgotten that 's a problem. If we weren 't asked if everything was ok or if we had everything we needed AND there was something we still felt we needed then that too is a problem. For the food I 'd give a 3.5, for the service I 'd give a 2 so I 'll average it out as a 3. By the way they have a nice collection of license plates..."

"I've dined at this restaurant three times before to enjoy their margaritas without any issues, but this last visit was a completely different experience. The evening counter server was extremely rude. He raised his voice at me in front of other patrons, claiming that my debit card wasn’t working, even though he was swiping it incorrectly. After I finally managed to pay for my drinks, he yelled at me again, pointing to the screen and insisting on a tip. His behavior was extremely disrespectful, and I won't be coming back. It's disappointing to have had such an experience."

"I was in the mood for a healthy lunch and decided to stop by Baja Fresh. I was very pleased with my choice. The chicken salad, featuring fresh romaine, was well-portioned and came with a selection of dressings. I opted for the vinaigrette, and it was just right. As a nice touch, it also came with a small basket of tortilla chips. I didn't finish them all, but I appreciated the gesture. I also love their salsa bar; it makes me want to sample a variety of options to find my favorite, but I ended up sticking with the classic salsa. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"Man, Baja Fresh hasn't changed and thats a good thing! (Other than their newly added vegan meat which actually can be genuinly compared to the steak, its just that good) I'm from California and this is what I miss about mexican food. The taste. Oregon mexican food just doesn't do it for me. But somehow a fast food joint i haven't gone to since I was a tiny tot which for sure outshines Chipotle, has done it for me. "Never in my life have a been disrespected like I did tonight at this chipotle. I ordered a double serving of steak and the girl proceeds to put 2 clearly half spoons of steak in my bowl. I politely asked for another spoon since they were CLEARLY HALF SCOOPS. She then proceeds to give me ANOTHER half scoop, totaling 1 1/2 scoops and has the audacity to charge me 25 DOLLARS FOR THIS BOWL. Being the nice guy I am, I just took it on the chin and left. But I’d rather step on legos for 24 hours straight than go back to this chipotle."

"We visited today for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our order arrived. We tried the Baja fish tacos, which were delicious, although they were fried. The salsa bar offered a wide variety of spicy options to enhance our meals, and it was well-organized and tidy. The salsas tasted very fresh, and it was enjoyable to sample them all. The kid's meal was excellent for young children and came with a juice box and applesauce. The restrooms were impeccably clean. The outdoor dining area would be lovely on a nice day, featuring a beautiful fountain surrounded by plenty of tables. The location is convenient, and the prices are quite reasonable."

"I visited the bar on a late Saturday for some margaritas and a bite to eat. The house-made chips and guacamole were fantastic. The Queso Fundido with chorizo was delightful, perfectly blending melted cheese with seasoned sausage. I also tried the Vera Cruz crispy chicken Caesar salad topped with cilantro ranch dressing, and it was amazing. The chicken was tossed in a honey chipotle sauce, and the cilantro dressing provided a refreshing balance to the salad, complementing the spicy chicken. The food prices were very reasonable. Cocktails and beers were much cheaper than many places, with domestic bottles at $3 and imported bottles at $4. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine, and I will definitely be returning. The staff was wonderful, and the owner even took the time to chat with us at the bar to ensure we had a great experience."

"Over the past month, I've dined at this restaurant five times whenever I'm in the area for work, and I keep returning. It has quickly become one of my favorites, and I plan to continue eating here in the future. Here’s what I've tried, listed in the order of my visits, and they’re all excellent choices, with my favorites marked with an asterisk: Chorizo burrito, Al pastor bowl*, Stewed chicken bowl, Al pastor taco*, Chorizo taco, and Grilled chicken taco. I highly recommend trying the horchata whenever it’s available. The staff are friendly and wonderful, and they wore masks the entire time, from taking orders to serving food. There’s a good amount of outdoor seating and a few indoor options available. Everything was clean. I definitely recommend giving this place a visit!"

"Love their vegetarian tacos. They're big boi tacos and will really fill you up. The new and fingerling potato one and the white bean one are my favourites. "The restaurant has a lovely decor and the service was excellent. The menu offers a wide variety of choices. I ordered a lunch burrito that sounded delicious. While the food arrived hot and in generous portions, I was disappointed to find that one of the ingredients listed on the menu was missing from my burrito. This was particularly disappointing because the Mexican beans are a key element that enhances the flavor of the dishes, along with the rice sides. On a positive note, the chips were fresh and the salsa had a nice level of heat, spicier than what most places serve. Overall, while my experience at El Sombrero could have been better, I think it’s worth giving it another try to see if this was just an isolated issue. We'll see what happens on my next visit."

"Their food is consistent at any location you go to. The food is always fresh too. At least for fast food. Customer service is also consistently decent. "Worth driving to bend to eat here. Okay, I'd first off say im not a fan of latin foods. I wasn't excited to come here but our party had a individual with celiac and this was our only option. The saff was super friendly and professional. My mask broke and he provided me with a new kn95 one. The setting for the place is cute and the music selection was older songs with some reggae and ska. Ordered Paella and a bunch of other things. The ingredients were fresh and succulent. The salmon were thick cut ~1in and not those tiny filets and cooked to perfection with an amazing sear. The rock fish was even better. The paella ? reminded me of the ones in Spain. The flavors were authentic and just enough crisp with out getting stuck in your teeth. I normally don't like calamari but theirs was so soft and tender. Their cauliflower bowl was super good and the sweetness was just right. I had an issue with one of my dishes and the saff handled it very well. Their homemade sodas were refreshing and I think they were great. I would say that they are most definitely not on the sweeter side. Everyone on my table said it was bitter. I personally wouldn't change it but maybe let the customers know or have an option for added sweetness. Overall, bravo! In my opinion, of the best latin restaurants in the state of Oregon and the prices were great. If I was not 100 miles away I'd be eating here weekly. All I know is everytime im in bend, ill be coming here. Or ill be coming to bend just to eat here. Finally, the bathroom door has a foot opener so the staff dont touch the door after washing their hands +1."

"I used to go to this location all of the time (about 3x a month for over a year). I got to know the manager very well and loved the place! My husband and I haven 't been going as much lately since we have been trying to eat better and save money but the last 2 times that we have gone, we have been quite disappointed. Today we went in only for chips and a drink and it was pretty crowded. It looks to me like they are under new management, as I no longer recognize the people that work there and I had never seen the lady that claimed to be the manager before. First off, neither of the people at the front (one lady and one man) had a name tag on so I can 't tell you who they were. The man tried to tell me that I couldn 't order just chips, that I had to order either chips and guac or chips and salsa. So after going around in circles with him for a while, the lady finally came over and said yes you can order a bag of chips for $1 so we ordered 2 and a soda. The Coke Zero was out when my husband went to fill our cup- no big deal though. I understand that this happens, especially when a restaurant is busy. Then I asked for the $1.05 that was left on my gift card back in cash (in California it 's a law that you can get the cash back off of your gift card if the remaining balance is under $10). She told me that I couldn 't do that because the owner specifically told her they don 't do that at this location. I explained to her that it was a law and she said that she would make a phone call to the owner to show me that they weren 't allowed to do it. So I waited while she helped 3 other customers in front of me and then called. She stepped away from the register but I could still hear her conversation and heard her say yes I know we can do it but I don 't remember how . She then hung up and came over to me and asked me to read the back of the gift card (in a quite condescending way) and the gist of what it said was no cash back except required by law. I then proceeded to pull up the law on a .gov website and showed it to her. She grabbed my phone from me and started scrolling around. She finally wound up giving me the $1.05 but was just so rude the entire time. I was trying to be polite and explain it to her; however, she did not seem to care one bit. I 'm glad I used up my gift card, as I will not be returning here! New management is terrible. Chips and soda tasted fine but it 's pretty hard to screw those up."
