"Is it so difficult to find good food and service in this post-COVID world? Seriously. I prefer to write good comments and reviews, but someone throw me a friggin ' bone! Our first clue that this was going to be a bad experience was the place was empty at this time on a sunday night. We go to the counter to order, because they dont take your order from the tables, so you order, pay, then go find a seat. Paying like this makes you leave a tip when you order if you only have a card, and honestly who carries tip cash nowadays? So we wait for probably 10 minutes until someone finally comes to the counter, does she offer to take our order? No, she logs on the computer register and starts tapping her way to long for food service fingernails on the screen and ignores us. I finally say, is there someone who can take our order? . Oh, suddenly she is able to do that. The TV 's were turned to nickelodeon and is so loud that you cant even hear yourself speak, and I am practically half deaf seriously, medically tested, I can 't hear ****) and the sound was so loud it was giving ME a headache. We order, pay, pre tip on the credit card I ask that the sound be turned down and to something more age appropriate for a bbq joint, and we go find a table. We sit, a male worker comes out with a remote control to change the channel. Low and behold, he changed the channel allright, but to soccer that HE could see from where he was standing near the kitchen door. Luckily they at least turned the sound down, so we got to continue watching nickelodeon... Our food finally arrives... Cold. There are literally 2 other tables in the restaurant and our food comes out cold. I go to put some bbq sauce on my brisket and the lid falls off and a big glob of sauce falls on my tray, luckily missing most of the cold food. This tells me the bottles are not being checked or cleaned between guests. Gross. My partner has ordered an ice tea $5 for an ice tea... yes $5). He usually takes a few packs of sweetener... it takes another five minutes to flag someone down to bring some out, and they bring 3 packs for quart size jar of tea. We are both crazy hungry and reluctantly eat the cold bbq, since no one came to check on us, ask if everything was ok, it we had any concerns... nothing. My water and his tea are empty, sitting on the edge of the table in hopes someone might realize we would like refills... nothing... We literally had to get up, go to another table to get bbq sauces and ketchup because no one had any intention of providing any type of service. Our rule of thumb now is, we will NEVER pre-tip again, anywhere. If you don 't have the option to tip after service is provided, you will not be getting a tip of any kind. I am not sure how this place has so many 5 star reviews, unless the staff is writing them, because I am only giving a 1 star review because that is the lowest I can rate this place. If you are looking for good food, service and BBQ, look elsewhere because this is not the place."
