"Captain Jay's Fish Chicken gives me mixed feelings. The food is good—at least everything I've tried so far. However, the customer service is really disappointing. No matter who is working, the service is poor, and the managers come across as rude. I called in an order, which they took, but when I drove all the way from Walmart on Plymouth and Middlebelt, my order wasn't ready. They even claimed they never received it. Despite the confusion, I still wanted my food. When the staff asked the manager how much longer it would take, he yelled, "I GOTTA COOK THE FOOD!" I heard him clearly from my car through the drive-thru. Overall, my kids wouldn’t work there, and I wouldn’t either. Still, I did buy food from them, and despite the unprofessionalism, the food was great."
