"We have visited Peel Wood Fired Pizza several times, but this is the first I've been asked to write a review. The food is excellent! I usually order their house salad with out the meat delicious. I also order the Wild Mushroom pizza with side sauce of balsamic vinegar (you have to ask for it) insanely delicious! I've also ordered Blackened Mahi mahi Tacos, yummy! My husband ordered Carne Asada Tacos. He loves it. All the food is very good and can be adjusted to meet your dietary needs. The service is excellent! One of the servers was the one suggested the balsamic vinegar for the mushroom pizza. Servers are quick and attentive.We go for lunch so it's usually very quiet as they are not as busy. I've been there in the evening and it's loud, but you can still have a conversation with people at the table. It's a very clean establishment."

"For newcomers, you absolutely have to try the Mac N Cheese. It was the best my wife and I have ever tasted. The texture was just right, and I believe the Fontina added a wonderful flavor. "

"Wow. Absolutely blown away by how unassuming this restaurant looks from the outside, and coming in and eating food created by a chef who truly cares about perfecting his dishes, having drinks made a bartender who is skilled at his craft, and having a server who is attentive and kind and goes the extra mile. I highly, highly recommend this place for anybody looking for authentic Italian food created by a chef who knows what he is doing. The price of the food and drinks were very reasonable, and the dessert is just the icing on top (try the tiramisu, you won't regret it). I have to say this is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Nashville, and you will not be disappointed by whatever you order here. The service, food, and drinks are all on point here."

"My wife and I decided to give Peel a try. The cheese garlic bread was excellent but unfortunately the trio pizza was a huge disappointment. I seriously doubt we will ever try another pizza here. The only other plus was our server, she was very good. There is an old axiom in business that states: “You only get one chance to make a first impression.” Peel's first impression in this instance was not very good."
