"I ordered a whole brisket and two BBQ chickens for the weekend, and I even received a tutorial on how to slice Piggy's brisket. It was definitely the highlight of the party—delicious and generous portions! It was wonderful to skip the grilling and instead relax and enjoy the company of my guests. Plus, we had plenty of leftovers. I highly recommend giving Piggy's a call the next time you host a BBQ."

"BBQ was very tasty, well smoked, well seasoned, and ribs were fall off the bone. The brisket was very dry however. I had the pork, ribs, and brisket with two sides. Coleslaw, like nearly every BBQ place I?ve tried was needing of salt and pepper. Mac and cheese was flavorful with some garlic and onion notes which I?ve found to be uncommon. The food was fresh and hot even on a slow day. Service is friendly and atmosphere is a great hole in the wall feel. Will definitely come back with a more well-rounded review."

"The wife was craving BBQ and we.opted to try this place out for the first time since Holy Smokin ' Butts was closed. Should have just saved the money and went when they were opened. The Mac was dry and tart? I don 't even know if that 's the correct description. And that 's saying something as I LOVE sharp cheese. The deviled egg salad was very similar to what you would get at a deli counter at the grocery store. I ordered the brisket which was essentially just shredded pork, I 've only ever had brisket served in juicy cut strips/steaks so this threw me off and the texture was not the same. The wife was fighting with the sticky ribs and couldn 't bite or pull off any of the meat. She gave up after not being able to cut it off with a knife. The chili was so terribly disgusting. Made with shredded/pulled meat AGAIN I 've only ever had ground meat in my chili which wouldn 't have been bad except it had the strongest most pungent vinegar taste. I couldn 't even swallow the small bite I took. Super acidy. Now I will say this the pork belly was good and the green beans were superb, fresh and still a bit crunchy, which I love. They ran out of corn bread so that was pretty disappointing but the garlic bread made up for it. Crispy on top but soft in the middle. All in all we wouldn 't come back just for the greens and pork belly but may try the ice creamery that they had next door next time."

"Well my wife and I prefer to have meals from here and let’s just say it was to be less than desired. We traveled from Phoenix and every time we come into Tucson the one place we want to eat is Brushfire. In the last 10 years or so the food has always been awesome. Today it wasn’t. I ordered the pulled pork and my wife had the brisket. Both meats were cold. My sides were hotter than my actual meat. I went to the counter to let a gentleman know about the sub par food and all I got was a deer in the headlights look. Not an offer to replace anything or nothing. Didn’t let the manager know about the complaint about the food. How disappointing that a well known Tucson business doesn’t respect the customer issues. I ate only a few bites and eventually threw it away, because I didn’t want to wait for a replacement since the first order took 25 minutes and actually have the same issue. Well I guess I won’t be visiting at least this location again if this is how they are going to handle customer issues. Oh on a better note the older lady at the cash register is the best experience I had coming in. She is the only good thing about this location. Her personality and happiness is very well appreciated."

"Easy 5/5 stars for food. Their food was amazing. Brisket melted in your mouth. Sides were wonderful although very small. Ordered 5 different meats/entrees and everything was awesome taste wise. Place was packed- which brings me to what a shame it was to see it being run the way it was. Love having fun at work, however, when you have a ton of people waiting for a table and half the tables are empty but dirty, that is unacceptable. Plenty of girls there chatting and giggling and only after seeing the line of people grow did they finally get to work bussing tables. One waitress seemed to be on top of things, and looked like she was doing the majority of the work for others. Service was very slow on the floor for many customers. The kids behind the counter were friendly. Such a great place to eat and one that we would have definitely driven out of the way for again. Could be so much better service wise, while still having a good time. EDITED TO FULL FIVE STAR REVIEW BASED ON OWNERS RESPONSE. Truly amazing BBQ!"

"I ordered the Brisket sandwich meal which came with two sides of your choice. I choose Mac ‘n cheese and Sweet cornbread. When I came over to the establishment to pick up the food the people there were very quick and kind to help me with my order and cut the meat just for my sandwich and made sure that I had enough napkins and utensils for my meal. Brisket was delicious, both tender,juicy and not at all dry and the house made BBq sauce that came with it in a cup was also delicious that gave a pleasant zing to the meat. The Macaroni was super cheesy and had unique seasoning that made me want to order just a full cup of the stuff. The Sweet cornbread was a good rectangular shape and was a moist cake but not too moist where you’d think It was a soggy cake. All in all this was a great food experience and customer experience I would go back again and again eager to try out more of their other menu items. I’ll have to try out one of their sweet desserts they have there too. I highly recommend this establishment. Hope you the reader have a just as amazing experience as I did!"
