"I *want* to love it here. I really do. It’s a really cute spot, their pastries look amazing… But I have tried it several times over the last 3 years of living in SLC and I just feel more and more disappointed everytime I go. The pastries never taste fresh (texturally or flavor wise). The croissants are not crisp, rather stale and chewy (and not a good chewy), and I am not exaggerating when I say it tasted like Lysol. Plus, it was 6 dollars. For one Lysol tasting croissant. The price is part of the frustration, because if it was 3 dollars, I would still think it was disgusting but not feel like it was a waste, but I genuinely wouldn’t pay even 10 cents for one ever again. And this happens every time. I always hope it’s just the day, or think maybe if I come back in 6 months something will have changed, but I actually think they’ve gotten worse. I’ve avoided writing a review because as a vegan of 11 years I love having plant-based places around… But I just don’t get how anyone could take a bite of any of their items and think “wow! This tastes great!”"
