"We absolutely love their Italian sub and pizza—pretty much everything they offer! The inside of the restaurant is great, too; they have a Copey's-style deli and bakery section. There's even a cozy little dining area. I don't go inside often, but it's the closest ATM to my house. Every time I do go in, I discover new deli options, fresh salads, and delicious cookies. I usually place orders through DoorDash a couple of times a week, and they’ve always gotten my order right. I really wish they would list all their deli and bakery options on the app like they have in the store. If they did, I would probably order from them 3-4 times a week!"

"My wife and I visited Parkette last night with our 17-month-old grandson. We've always enjoyed good service and tasty food at Parkette, but our experience this time was disappointing. After being seated in the main area, we waited for someone to assist us. I’m not sure how long the couple next to us had been waiting, but they eventually left. After another 10 minutes of waiting, a different couple had to go find someone to take their order. At this point, no one had even asked us for our drink order. I refuse to chase down a staff member to get served—it's their job to attend to customers. After waiting for 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging our presence, we decided to leave. It's disheartening to see that this once charming historic restaurant is unable to provide decent service to its patrons."

"A friend of mine stopped in for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. It wasn't overly busy but a good crowd. We sat on the bar side, the atmosphere was upbeat and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our food was excellent! We had the jalapeño poppers to start. These weren't your run of the mill, frozen kind but fresh cut, hand made poppers that were delicious. I ended up having the fish and chips as my main course. They were crisp on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside, highly recommend. As far as drinks, we sampled the 3 new beers from the Blind Tiger Brewery. All 3 were good but I settled on the Blind Tiger Bock. It was so smooth and easy to drink that I ended up buying a growler to take home! The best part of the night though was the service. Our food and drinks were served quickly but our waitress made the day. Personable and funny while taking care of anything we needed. If you get Amy, you're in for a treat! I'll definitely be back with more friends and family as I feel this will be a regular hang out. The prices are mid range and well worth it for both food and drinks."

"I believe that if you're running a bar that serves food, you should uphold certain standards. Having worked as a bartender for over 20 years, I was disappointed with the service we received. The manager didn’t offer any compensation for the music shutdown, which felt particularly frustrating since it's a family-friendly bar—after all, it is still a bar. "This use to be a good place to go for a meal, not any more. It took 5 minutes before we got acknowledge another 4 minutes to receive a cup of coffee and then 15 more minutes to receive a bagel. After the bagel it took another 8 minutes to receive a second cup of coffee. The food was good, the meal reasonable, the service terrible."

"I purchased 2 large trays to go with extra sides and a sandwich with fries. They now package the barbecue in paper trays and paper bags. The barbecue was so watery and greasy that the trays and bags fell apart and the grease seeped through the plastic bag onto my seat. If I had not had a large order, it would have been in a paper bag and I would have had a much worse mess in my car. I love their barbecue but won’t be getting any more to go orders. Beware if you ordering to go, ask them to put them in styrofoam containers. My husband called and they didn’t seem concerned that they ruined my seat. We didn’t ask for anything but to let them know and they are not going to stop using the paper containers $45 for 3 meals"

"I come in all the time to get a fat burger, I love the people that work there. They have a lot of respect and always know how to make me smile. Now the two things that I would say can be worked on are the prices, and the time that it takes for me to get my food. Every time I go in there even if I get a single burger I'm spending at least like $14 and I have to wait at least like 15 minutes which is understandable but at the same time I just want to make sure that you guys know what you need to work on cuz you can't fix something you don't know is broken.
