"This is either my second or third visit to Habacu since moving to Minden. It's hard to find a Mexican restaurant that offers both good chips and salsa along with delicious food. For some reason, it seems that many places fall short in that regard. When you walk into Habacu, it feels like entering a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Once seated, they serve you not just regular chips and salsa, but also two types of salsa along with pork and beef bites. That puts them ahead of their competition right from the start. I really enjoy sampling multiple salsas—they have a fantastic red salsa that’s better than most around the city, and the brightly colored one is very unique. I can’t quite place the flavor; it's not overly spicy or aromatic, but it's a lovely addition to kick off the meal. So far, I've mostly tried the enchiladas, and they've been fantastic every time. This visit, I opted for the Chicken Sour Cream Enchiladas, which were great. The rice and beans were decent, but nothing extraordinary. My waitress was incredibly friendly and offered some good recommendations. So, when it comes to the ultimate question: "Do I want to come back?" The answer is a definite yes! I have returned and will continue to do so. Next time, I plan to try something different to explore more of what the menu has to offer."
