"I decided to visit this restaurant with my family, and we loved it! The atmosphere was fantastic, even if you just stop by for takeout. They had wonderful live music, which added to the experience. I would definitely be interested in returning just for the ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious! However, I think the presentation of the takeout could be improved; I’d love to see more sustainable plates and utensils used. I highly recommend this place—be sure to try the enchiladas; they were amazing!"

"Los Magueyes is by far our favorite spot in the area. Hector and his family are welcoming and kind, and the food is outstanding. We come here for lunch at least once a week. Tonight, we celebrated New Year’s Eve with margaritas, mouthwatering shrimp, and an excellent flan for dessert. If you haven’t been to Los Magueyes yet, you absolutely must try it!"

"One word: roaches. If you’ve never seen them crawling around while sitting at your table or the bar, you will now that you’ve read this review. I emailed them a couple years ago about it, and they blamed it on an abandoned upstairs apartment and said they’re trying to get the owners to take care of it. It’s still a problem.It’s unfortunate because the atmosphere is fun, the drinks are excellent, and the food is good, too. But I can’t ignore the roach problem and the wait staff that gets defensive if you point them out."
