"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit on the veranda on a fairly wet June evening, and the ceiling fans provided a nice breeze. We find that most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without getting involved. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"I attended an event here on July 8, 2023. While the venue is nice, the food service left much to be desired. My friend and I were unable to share a dish because we were informed that a mandatory charge per person would apply. The prefix menu was quite limited and didn't even include an appetizer. Several guests approached the manager to voice their concerns, but he was not courteous and refused to make any accommodations. This situation really overshadowed the entire event."
