"We arrived on a cold and rainy evening, so there was limited viewing of the surrounding marina, but we were very pleased with our experience at Playa. The last time we were at this place, it was Ship 's Harbor . The newer, barer, decor was different. I had the Playa platter appetizer as my meal, 1/2 dozen oysters on half shell, 1/2 lb of peel and eat shrimp, and a huge portion of smoked tuna dip. My wife had the rib appetizer for her entree. Firstly, those ribs were really good! My oysters were the star of my meal, plump, fresh, and tasty. The shrimp were okay , but the seasoning on them made for a messy peeling and added little flavor. The smoked tuna dip was decent. It was a bit loud, as mentioned above, the decor was a bit bare, so the noise level was elevated. Overall, we enjoyed it and plan to return."
