"We have been going to Los Charros weekly for several months and ate there for the last time this evening because we are moving back to Ohio. Also make sure you go on an evening that Arturo is working. He is the very charismatic person who can be seen flying around the restaurant. He is often seating folks and checking them out, so you can’t miss him. He makes the BEST Texana Margarita ask for it with Don Julio Reposado. His energy is part of what makes the place so great, but all of their servers are great as well. Plus the food has always been fabulous. This place is truly one of the things that we will miss about NC. Can’t recommend it highly enough."

"Regarding the bill: it totaled $105 for four of us, each of whom ordered an entrée and at least one alcoholic drink. However, the payment process was quite frustrating. They rely on outdated digital payment systems, and splitting the bill by item was a nightmare. While there is a feature to split it evenly among four people, that didn’t work for us since one friend had three drinks while the rest of us only had one each. It turned into quite a hassle. These credit card machines were new to me, despite being a regular customer for years. The last time I visited was in 2021, and they didn’t have these cumbersome devices then. My suggestion for La Fiesta is to maintain the excellent quality of the food—it's just as good as I remember—but to update or replace those credit card machines. It shouldn't be the customers’ responsibility to calculate the bill, including tips and taxes, especially when we’re already tipping the servers to help us with this—particularly at a rate of 25%!"

"We hadn’t been to Seniorita’s for a while. Food is still fresh and tasty; atmosphere makes you want to party; the service while enthusiastic, seemed to be a bit amateurish however (when asked to have our food prepared extra spicy, we were told by the server that it came out as it came out. If we wanted it spicier we could always buy a side order of jalapenos). Of bigger concern, was the forgotten fact that Bloomfield was under a boil water advisory, after a water main problem a day earlier. Reminded of this when we asked for tap water for the table, the same server told us that she would bring a bottle instead. We ended up paying for that bottle. Maybe it’s me, but it seems that if you cannot provide tap water for your patrons, you should make some sort of effort to mitigate the problem, rather than profit from it. Anyway, we probably won’t hold either against this restaurant for long, and will perhaps return when the Mexican craving again strikes."

"This little dive deserves more credit then it's getting...I say dive in the kindest way..it small..a little dark inside but very clean...Staff was very friendly and attentive during our whole visit...Chip, Salsa and Queso to start...they bring 2 bottles of sauce to the table as well...the red had some kick and it kicked up the Queso just right..The granddaughter went with the regular Quesadilla, and she wished she went with a large one...but we gave her a Queso of her own and she was fine..we both went with the Enchilada Mexicanas...wife with ground beef , no beans...mine chicken with beans and rice...it also can with steak cecina...did t know what to expect...but it was actually really good...very thin, crisp and had a great charred flavor..we both enjoyed our food...Beans and rice were solid to...overall a great visit for us...The plates of breakfast grub going by while waiting looked killer...we will try that next round.."

"I enjoyed the parrillada for two, but my partner thought the meat was too dry for his liking. The margaritas were good. As for the service, it was just okay; our waiter always seemed rushed and didn’t give us enough time to finish our order, which made us feel a bit hurried. The ambience was nice, especially with the live band that started playing at 9 o'clock—they were great and had everyone dancing on Saturday night. The owner or manager appeared to be busy attending to other customers, which could be something to consider adjusting."

"As a first-time customer, I had the pleasure of being served by the restaurant's food truck at an event I attended. The three gentlemen working there were incredibly friendly and helpful. They enhanced my cheese quesadilla to make it a great vegetarian option, and it was delicious. My husband ordered the Burrito Bowl with a mix of chicken and steak, and he absolutely loved it. He raved about the steak being seasoned to perfection! The steak street tacos were also a big hit. I can’t wait to visit the actual restaurant. The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding."

"The food is just as I remember it from my childhood! This was my first visit back in years, and the steak taco dinners were outstanding! The sauces were fantastic! I really can't stand greasy food that skimp on the meat or use subpar vegetables, so I was thrilled to see that they used high-quality steak, the tacos weren't greasy, and the veggies were fresh! The entire restaurant was spotless, and the woman behind the counter was incredibly sweet. I will definitely return when I'm in the area. I highly recommend this place – it's truly a gem on the South Side!"

"I've been coming here since I was a kid and still visit from time to time. I went for brunch today and I hate to give lower ratings but the service was sooo bad. There are new waiters and it took them over 20 minutes to make our drinks yet we were the only group there for some time. They rarely even checked on us. The brunch is an hour unlimited drinks and with the way they were moving, you'd be lucky to get two drinks for your hour. They were friendly though, just not attentive.I ordered the huevos rancheros and asked for my eggs to be well done. The waiter must of forgot to mention it and my eggs came runny. I do appreciate them remaking it but I hate to waste food smh. My food was delicious but I do believe they have a new chef as well. As for the drinks ... let's just say you'd need more than one drink to feel a buzz. Definitely missing the old Elora's. $25 brunch with 1 hour unlimited drinks is a steal though, I'd give them that."

"Peace, love and Tacos!! Ate at the Reston location yesterday, and the Chantilly site today. Both meals were amazingly good. Super fresh, diverse choice of proteins, and really friendly service. The birria tacos, available on Tuesday and Sunday only, is a must try. OMFG, so delicious. If you are in the NoVA area, please, give Taco Zocalo your business! "It saddens me to do this review. We live in Yoder and drive to get their tacos. Which are delicious, well except for the potatoes in my Ground Beef Tacos.... Not potatoes and ground beef tacos mind you. So we were already on our way with about 10 minutes to go, 7:50pm, I called to place our order. They were supposed to be open until 9pm, no one answered. After many attempts and we were turning onto State St., they answered and said they were closed. No explanation why they were closed an hour early, just a Have a good night. That is not good business practice especially on Taco Tuesday!!!! We probably won 't be going back."

"What a hidden gem! We took a chance on this restaurant while staying in Virginia Beach last week, and we were pleasantly surprised. We have a favorite spot back in New York that we love, and Jessy's surpassed it. I ordered the skirt steak fajitas, and the homemade tortillas were fantastic. I also tried a chicken tamale, which was so delicious that I wished I had ordered another. My wife enjoyed a chimichanga, which she loved. The portions were generous, leaving us with full bellies. Our son had chicken quesadillas, and for drinks, they offered freshly made pineapple juice that was delicious. Our meals came with chips and salsa that had a delightful kick, along with a generous serving of rice and beans, both of which were also tasty. Our server was friendly and accommodating, and the kitchen staff was really nice. It’s one of the few places where I tipped $20 on a $40 bill! Out of all the meals we had in Virginia Beach, this was probably our favorite."

"we have made a reservation months ago to eat after an unc basketball game. they really had no organization for reservations. the couple before us also had a reservation, but not table was available. they had only outdoor seating with some inefficient heating in 40 degrees test. it was so cold. eating was great and service excellent, but by a reservation at a busy basketball day in chapel hill awaits a customer sitting."

"The food at this restaurant is quite good, but unfortunately, the customer service from the cashiers leaves much to be desired. They often appear disinterested and fail to interact with customers in a friendly way. I keep coming here solely because of the food; otherwise, the cashiers' attitudes would deter me from returning. Upon arrival, I'm rarely greeted or smiled at—just met with an unfriendly demeanor that suggests they don’t enjoy their jobs. It’s evident they could use some training in customer service. I visit every time I'm in town because I love the food, but the experience at the cash register is consistently disappointing. I often find myself dreading the visit just to pick up my order, as the cashiers never seem happy to be there and hardly acknowledge customers with a smile."
