As a fan of Indian cuisine, I opted for the meal for one, which included Butter Chicken, Naan Bread, chickpeas, and rice. Let me tell you, it was a delightful treat for my taste buds.The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and packed with flavors that perfectly complemented the tender chicken pieces. The naan bread was warm, soft, and simply delicious. My only tiny quibble would be that I could have used a bit more of the naan bread. However, considering the affordable price of the meal (only $20 for a full serving), the additional charge of $2.50 to $3.00 for extra naan bread seemed reasonable.The overall quality of the food was outstanding, and I couldn't help but be thoroughly impressed. The authentic flavors and the aromatic spices transported me to the heart of India. It's clear that the chefs at Spicy Time take great pride in their culinary creations.During my visit, the staff informed me about their buffet, which is available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting at around 4:00 PM. I am already looking forward to returning for the buffet, as I can't wait to indulge in more of their incredible Indian dishes. I am more than ready to explore the delicacies of Spicy Time the next time I visit.The ambiance of Spicy Time was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy the meal. "I had been sent off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came out like that), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"I had the Salad bowl with regular chicken (not spicy) with cucumber slaw, cheese, and Cilantro Avocado sauce. I also ordered a Samosa, and a bottle of their Peach Hibiscus juice. I also had the masala french fries, which were made to order (had to wait an extra 5 min, but well worth it). So they were piping hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.Everything was delicious and fresh! The cilantro avocado sauce, as well as the cucumber slaw absolutely elevated the meal. Next time I’ll ask for extra of both!"

"The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining options. The interior dining area is spacious, allowing us to sit apart from other patrons. The high ceilings and open layout made it easy to converse during our meal. There were carafes of ice water already on the table when we arrived. Our waiter was friendly and efficient, providing just the right amount of service without being intrusive. The menu features a wide range of options, catering to both vegetarians and meat lovers. We ordered four dishes to share along with a lamb biryani. The lamb was served in its own crock, topped with a naan bread cover. There was more than enough food for four adults, and we even had some leftovers to take home. All the dishes were well-prepared and spiced according to our preferences. The only minor disappointment was the naan bread, which was served separately, cut into four small, fairly dry pieces. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and appreciated being able to catch up for nearly two hours without feeling rushed. We look forward to returning to Tamarind in the future."

"Good place in Ballwin area. Living in this area since 20 years and this is the first time I see a pure authentic Indian restaurant in Ballwin and Manchester area. I see some service problems but food is excellent and I do not mind to excuse those service problems when I am getting best quality food. "We recently moved to the area and this place impressed us so much, we went twice in one week! The Chicken Tikka Masala was on point, very tangy and creamy with the right amount of heat we got medium). The spicy, creamy sauce is addictive. Definitely one of the best Tikka Masala?s I ever had! The Chicken Curry is a common, stereotypical curry with really well cooked chicken. The chicken was perfectly spiced and still juicy. If this place can nail a chicken curry and chicken tikka masala, I would assume everything on the menu is great. We later went back and got the Lamb Curry not pictured) which was fantastic. The lamb was well cooked, tender, and spiced perfectly without a hint of the typical gamey lamb flavor. Each curry is specifically crafted to balance out every dish differently. The chicken curry is a lighter sauce which compliments the chicken although still heavy in a sense) while the dark lamb curry sauce really balances the meaty, hearty flavor of the red meat. Goat momos the thickness of the dough compared to the meat filling was the perfect ratio and the overall construction and seasoning of the momos was complimented by the flavor of the spiced goat meat. The texture of the momos was quite delightful. We highly recommend getting the chili momo version $1) which was a fantastic blend of coarsely chopped veggies in a sweet and spicy tomato based sauce. Overall, this place feels like a home cooked meal nothing fancy, just good comfort food. They give large portions so the price is very reasonable since you will get multiple meals out of one serving. Definitely check this place out as it will certainly cheer you up and help you beat the cold winter weather!"

She was also timid which made us feel a bit uncomfortable for her. They were very attentive to our table but shy and standoff ish. Food was amazing! We enjoyed a classic Buttered Chicken and Lamb Coconut Curry with garlic and butter naan and rice. Awesome food! I crave it even now while I write this. Atmosphere was good. Spacious and clean. We were there at a quiet time but it seems well laid out for the busy hours. Drinks weren't comprehensive and I didnt notice too many options but that doesn't seem like a big deal for a place like this. What I REALLY enjoyed was the chai. It's a great touch to offer this complimentary service and I've only seen it in a few Indian restaurants. Really appreciated it. Prices were good and very reasonable. Portions seemed standard for what we've seen elsewhere and prices were good. Especially given the quality of food. Would definitely go again if craving Indian food. "I tried this place a few times. I tried their Falafel over Rice. It was excellent. Food was cooked fast. Prices are very reasonable. I have tried their Curry Chicken over Rice and Fried Chicken as well. It's all good! I will become a regular customer here.Parking: If you live close by, you're better off walking here.
