"I think this might be my last dinner at Bacco. I made a last minute late evening reservation and when I arrived, I stood at the host/hostess stand for almost five minutes before anyone arrived/acknowledged me. The restaurant was quite full for a Thursday night (I guess there were a lot of holiday gatherings), but at least two waiters walked by me and made no effort to acknowledge me or find anyone. When the host finally came, he scanned the room for a table and when it didn't look like he was going to find anything, I just said I'd sit at the bar. Service there was not great I really wanted salt pepper and some parmesan cheese for my meal, but the server was no where to be found, so I just went without. House salad was not worth $6. There was barely any taste to the dressing. Eggplant parm was not as good as I remembered too much sauce. I asked for it without the ricotta which seemed like an issue, but did get it that way perhaps I need to add it back. All in all, this visit was not worth the time or money."
