"If you’re a Foodie and traveling near New Orleans, please stop in at St. Rose Tavern in New Sarpy, LA. For a Wednesday what a surprise this family owned restaurant-bar was just a happenin’. Bonus they sell canned preserves and pickled almost everything! Friendly and welcoming to us out of staters. Service beyond great. The one server was handling the bar, dine in, to go orders, call in orders and chit chatting with the fine locals all the way. She even boxed our jarred goods. Awesomest tasting burger and hot sausage sandwich we’ve had. Thanks for the hospitality St. Rose Tavern. Hope to pass thru next time."
