"We have ordered the Veg Burger multiple times and each time we requested to add avocado for an extra charge. However, the avocado is always missing despite being charged for it. The toppings on the burger are inconsistent and do not match the menu description. Additionally, I was served ingredients that I am allergic to, which were not listed, and the restaurant refused to refund me. Due to these issues, I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"I have been to Longfellow many times and this was quite a disappointment. In the past I have had exceptional food and hospitality here but my recent experience was more like going to tasty burger. Too bad we were celebrating my and the restaurant was aware of the occasion. Waiter ignored us and my companion got his drink a full minutes before I got mine, a negroni which is one of the easiest drinks to mix. This was after the waiter had to come back and reconfirm our drink order. Food was extra greasy, fries were overcooked and burnt. After we finished our burgers the empty plates sat filling the entire table even after we ordered a second round. It was only then he realized they needed to be cleared because there was no place to put new drinks. We had a late reservation at and the place was pretty dead so it’s not like they were slammed. With service like this and at these prices go somewhere else."

"This place offers the best BBQ in Washington! The ribs were incredibly tender; I could cut through them effortlessly with a plastic knife. They had just the right amount of sauce too. The coleslaw featured some interesting spices, and I also tried Dave’s brisket, which came with fantastic toppings that complemented the meat perfectly. I really enjoyed the sauces as well—definitely not your typical BBQ sauces; you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into every item on the menu. The cocktail menu was impressive, and the owner was great, sharing some of his BBQ techniques with us."
