"The pastries at this restaurant are delicious comfort food, but they are served very hot so it's best to let them cool down before eating to avoid burning your mouth. I particularly enjoyed the vegan cottage pie and the peanut butter jelly pastry, which is the only vegan dessert option. However, it would be even better if they offered vegan alternatives for the spiced cream or ice cream that usually accompany these items, and perhaps reduce the price without these additions. The banana bread beer from Eagle Brewery is my favorite drink from their selection and pairs well with the pastries. The restaurant has an authentic British pub style and is spacious with plenty of seating options. There is also a section with two pool tables that is popular with serious players.
