"Although staff was friendly and restaurant had great ambiance, service was extremely slow our main course was served 2 hours after we sat down to a fixed menu meal). Kitchen clearly could not keep up. One of our mains was materially under-cooked and others came out lukewarm. The restaurant wasn't prepared or set up for the event offered to the public. Extremely disappointing for a highly priced $200 per) holiday meal. I don't like posting negative reviews try to be positive for the staff), but the restaurant failed. Perhaps on a non-event night the dinner would be better?"

"We booked our rehearsal dinner in the Flamingo Ballroom at Ellie’s 50’s Diner and I am so happy I found this gem! We were so late in booking our rehearsal dinner room for various reasons and Sue at Ellie’s 50’s Diner was incredible and very helpful. We had a very tight budget and Sue gave us the most delicious food and excellent service! We did a luau theme and were able to bring in our own decorations, but I didn’t even need half of them because the room was already set up so beautifully. Sue even brought in palm frawns from her home for decorations too, which was super thoughtful! They provided a microphone and speaker for us also so we didn’t have to rent one. The staff were excellent and everyone was very professional. Did I say the food was extremely delicious?? Everything was incredible and really great prices for South Florida. I’m so happy with the service and venue and can’t say enough great things!!!"
