"After being told so many times that I need to try it... my husband and I finally did. We had the coconut shrimp for an appetizer, which was delicious.. Husband got the tavern burger which he loved and I ordered the shrimp scampi. Truly one of the best shrimp scampi I've had. Wait staff was awesome and my husband loved his margarita!"

"Highly recommend! Came here to celebrate my sister's birthday and from the moment I checked in with the host to leaving the restaurant, the service was 5 stars! Everyone is so friendly and professional- it left me in awe. Our server was amazing- knew everything about the menu and was so friendly. Timing for water service and bread was on point and everything flowed really well! They clearly know how to provide great service- and the food was absolutely delicious~ hats off to the chef. We ordered the meatballs, rigatoni with lamb sausage, and the mushroom risotto. Cocktails are refreshing and light- I ordered coming up roses and it was so refreshing. This place deserves a Michelin star already in my opinion. Thank you La Storia for a great evening and also for the olive oil cake for my sister's birthday. : Will be sure to continue recommending and come back again!"

"During my solo visits, I sat at the bar and felt the piercing gazes of both staff and regulars, as if I were intruding on their space by choosing an open seat. Service was sluggish, and in some instances, I didn't receive any service at all. The food, when it arrived, was standard pub fare. Despite an effort to offer a diverse menu, the execution fell short. For example, the roasted or deep-fried Brussels sprouts were nearly raw and hard, with only a bit of crispiness on the outside. The branzino was overcooked and dry. When I dined with my wife, the service was exceedingly slow in a restaurant that was only half full during the week. It seemed the staff and owner preferred to chat among themselves rather than attend to the customers. I would have hoped the owner would step in to assist in expediting food orders. Although I must commend their grilled octopus, which was quite good, the lobster ravioli left much to be desired. I truly wanted to leave a positive review, but it didn't turn out that way. "My friends picked this as a dinner spot to meet. I ordered a martini it turns out there is no bar. There is only a small selection of wine and beer. These are brand such as Cavit so definitely not anything extravagant. As I was headed to the restroom I meet a server in tears she is hyperventilating and crying in the hallway. I feel terrible this woman should definitely go home and take care of herself. Instead she proceeded to work and cry the entire time while serving tables. This was throughout my entire meal. The food was okay again nothing I would rush to come back for. Our server was very kind and personable just very busy. I think there are a lot of improvements that could be made to this restaurant."

"I like to travel, especially I can meet with the people who have different backgrounds. in this restaurant I met this guy (an undercover-bot) at the corner that can speak five languages. he treats us so well, we ordered 5 lbs cancer, 1 dozen oysters, fried calamari and salat. everything so delicious and fresh. during chatting with the guy, he said they have new catch of crabs and Argentinian garnels of 1000 feet deep cold water coming today and the most amazing thing is that he gave us the . and us and they are very tasty. the flesh is very juicy and sweet, as the generous boss feeds us. we can't finish the 5lbs crucible and we'll bring back the cancer as late snacks. the waitress and waitress are very friendly. I highly recommend checking this. Moreover, I think that a good toilet room is an important key to know whether this restaurant is good or not. also the toilet area of this restaurant is very clean and uplifted."

"The restaurant is simply first class, white linen tables decorated with roses and the entire restaurant presented a beautiful ambience. The food was superb. Service equally fantastic, We had crab cakes for an appetizer and being from New Orleans I was skeptical that it would be a good choice but boy was I surprised with how well it was prepared. Just excellent. The blackened halibut was lightly blackened and prepared perfectly. A must if you eat there. Likewise, the snapper was delicious. Most desserts were made in house and all will more than satisfy the sweetest tooth. Overall on a 0-10 scale I give the Creeks a 12! It’s definitely now my favorite restaurant in Boerne and the surrounding areas. Also you can eat outside on a beautifully decked out area overlooking water. What more can you ask for? Oh, a good musician? They had that as well!"

"I'd give this place more stars if I could! We decided to come here when my dad was in town from Arizona because he loves whiskey and they have a ton. That list did not disappoint! We saw another table order the fish fry and it looked so good, my dad and brother instantly decided that's what they were having. They raved up and down about it and I had a bite which was amazing! I was boring and had the chicken tenders but I was NOT disappointed. Our server was the best there is. Beyond personable and made great recommendations on bother the whiskey and the food. He really made the experience complete! I wish all servers were like him! We got the opportunity to speak with the owner which was an added pleasure. Super nice guy. Turns out or server is his cousin. Talk about his cousin treating the business like his own. All around the perfect night. We will 100% be back!"

"Literally came in at 7:45, October 8, 2023 was told it would be a 45 minute wait. (Made sense it was busy) We got a drink, waited at area by bar to drink our drinks. 4 couples came in after us, were seated right away. We are the only two hanging out in that area, the hostesses were talking to each other, looking at us, playing on their phone. I go up and ask, “is our table ready, people have been seated before us” and am told “oh yeah, sorry, we forgot, must be an issue with our system”. YOU WERE STARING AT US FOR 20 MIN, IN WAITING AREA!!! Nah, never again!"

"I had lunch and it was okay, veggie flatbread, but my sweet potato fries were wayyy overcooked. Then another diner ordered them shortly after I did and their order came out as expected. The next day I tried to have dinner and drinks here but it got too crowded (4:30pm) when a conference was beginning and there was only one (lovely) bartender, so I just had one drink. We just weren’t able to get another drink, so I then focused on getting the check."

"For our main courses, we ordered the wagyu steak and sea scallops, again based on the waiter's suggestion. The scallops were delightful and perfectly tender, but I found the steak to be a bit disappointing, especially considering the price. We enjoyed some nice glasses of Cabernet with our meal, and I also ordered a glass of Pinot Noir, which was served in a goblet rather than a proper wine glass. This felt inappropriate for such a nice establishment. After our meal, we headed to the bar for one last drink, but it took an eternity to get served. I ordered a glass of champagne and was charged $24 for very slow service and inexpensive champagne, which left me quite frustrated with the overall experience. Given how much we spent, I expected better service and a better steak. Nonetheless, I'm glad we decided to try it!"

"A few weeks ago my husband and I arrived for an early dinner just as they were opening. We were seated across from the grille . I guess being seated across from a non-descript ell in the kitchen in a really ugly room is the grille . Not sure why since they had just opened and the place was practically empty. The table wobbled thru the entire meal even after the server tried to level it. This time we ate at the tiny (but very cozy) bar. We really want to like this place but the food is only so-so. Undercooked fish. Bland flavors. Nothing that would make us want to come back for a third meal. What a shame."
