"We stopped in after the normal, what do you want to eat? Talk in the car lol. So we ended up here and it was surprisingly good. We walked in the place was quaint and gave a real intimate vibe. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We started with Vegetable Tempura which was light and crisp. Then we ordered the main dishes of chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu. They came out hot and fresh. The amount of food was large and the taste was even larger. This is definitely somewhere that you should stop in and try."

"HORRIBLE customer service. My partner and I went there for dinner and we loved everything we ordered besides the chicken hibachi. We were told we can’t have it removed from the bill nor can we swap it out for anything else. The chef then came out and proceeded to argue with me as to why the food is good and our opinion does not matter regardless of all the food we ordered and loved. He said that everyone likes it and “hibachi is hibachi it is the same everywhere you go”. Which as a frequent lover of eating out at restaurants all over NYC, I know that statement is 100% false. Their customer service is extremely poor. Literally every other restaurant has a manager on staff that comes and assists customers if they have any issues, I have never experienced this in my life."

"I recently dined at Sumo Sushi for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was calm and serene, and the staff members were exceptionally friendly. I chose the three-roll lunch special, which featured a spicy tuna roll, a spicy salmon roll, and a shrimp tempura roll. While these are standard choices at any sushi restaurant, I can confidently say that Sumo's versions were the best I've tried in Jacksonville so far. The prices are very reasonable as well; many places tend to overcharge for these rolls, but the lunch special was only $13, and the rolls cost around $6 each if ordered individually. I will definitely be returning frequently, as the location is convenient and easily accessible in the Riverside area. Additionally, there is much more parking available compared to many other spots in this part of town."

"Our go-to sushi spot when we want take out close to home. We tried just about all of their sushi rolls, including the chef special ones. Our long list of favs: Mr. Fuji roll, Polar Bear Roll, Tokyo roll, dragon roll, American dream roll, pink lady roll, suinugi roll, and kiss roll. The first two listed are on a separate special menu from their take out menu. I included photos of the special rolls menu (sorry for some of the glare... it's laminated)"

"Visited this place on a weeknight around 5:30 pm. Upon entering I noticed i was greeted by someone without a mask. He was my waiter and did not wear a mask the entire time he waited on me. Some of the staff, those preparing the sushi had masks on. Others did not. I ordered the Hibachi vegetables. It came with a salad and miso soup. I didn’t particularly like that the soup and salad were given to me at the same time. The miso soup was great. The salad with ginger dressing was ok. I have had better. The actual entree on Hibachi Vegetables piping hot. The portion size was very generous. The taste was ok. The food was drowning in the sauces. I might give this place another chance because I did not have a bad experience. The food wasn’t bad, but just ok. Maybe I will try the sushi next time."

"I've been coming to Wasabi for more than a decade. katsu and jing are always super wonderful and welcoming. the sushi is always fresh and to order. expect their meal to eat a little longer. Hot menu elements, especially the Kyoto chicken, are delicious and not like everything else they find somewhere in the environment. authentic Japanese restaurants are very difficult to pass. if they expect cheap almost food, they prefer to go somewhere else. if they want a real Japanese experience, then they come to Wasabi, sit, enjoy the atmosphere and relax. the reward is worth waiting."

"If you're in search of a genuine Chinese restaurant in Williston Park, even if it's a bit on the smaller side, this is the spot to visit. At 1 PM, every table was occupied, and they had only been open since noon! The food here is authentic, flavorful, and truly fantastic. Everything was prepared without excessive fat or salt, which can be an issue at some other Chinese places. The dishes were freshly made and portion sizes were generous. Prices are comparable to other Chinese restaurants on Long Island. The staff was attentive, promptly taking our orders, clearing plates, and delivering the check quickly. Overall, I'm thrilled about this restaurant and can't wait to return to explore more of the menu. I’ve attached pictures of what I ordered today, but I didn't capture the little pancake since it was so delicious that I started eating it before snapping a photo!"

"Our second time having lunch at Flavors of India. We met a friend and together we ordered (3) vegan entrees and (2) appetizers. Wanted to have some to take home. Portions were generous and the spice level we ordered was good for us, however, a couple of the dishes were swimming in added oil. We were very disappointed by that. But overall, the food and service were good. Other part of experience was not so good. When visiting the women’s restroom, I found it to be rather disgusting. It did not look clean, trash was overflowing and paper towels were just being thrown on top of the trash canister. The toilet paper roll was almost empty with no replacement in site, and there were (3) soap dispensers on the wall by the sink and none worked. A bottle of hand soap was placed on the sink. I told one of the servers about the toilet paper, and at least he took in another roll. But instead of replacing the roll on the spool, he just set it on top of the holder. How much more effort would it have taken to actually replace the toilet paper on the spool? This is unacceptable in my opinion and always makes me worried then about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Not sure we will be returning."
