"After receiving a phone call from the restaurant to advise us that we had scheduled via open table and weren’t aware of their change to 3 seatings for New Year’s Eve, we chose the 9:15 seating. Our party of 6 arrived a few minutes early and was seated promptly. Our drinks, appetizers, and entrees were served and were just ok. The waiter presented our check as we were finishing our entrees. I was shocked and asked if we could order coffee and dessert. He checked and told us the kitchen was closed. It was 10:15. The staff was turning off lights and closing curtains. Obviously in a rush to leave. Our special New Year’s Eve out was ruined. We eat at the saloon often and live locally. This was our third New Year’s Eve eating there. They should not have had a 9:15 seating unless the staff was prepared to stay as late as necessary. It was a terrible disappointment and will be quite a long time before we, or our friends who also live in Newtown, will return."

"This place was perfect to watch a game. Plenty of TVs but the best part was how welcome they made you feel. Rebecca was all smiles and Jimmy such a sports bar host, have not seen this since the sitcom Cheers. It has been a long time since we enjoyed a game this much even though our team got there butts kicked. Food was good and drinks excellent, esp the ****** Mary. Thanks for making this such a friendly bar."

"The weekend was full of fun and entertainment when the Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival took place. The weather was absolutely amazing this year. During my escapades on Sunday I decide to stop for some food and coffee. The bartender was 5 stars for her great personality, service and inviting smile. The food was good. The herbal whiskey is worth a try. You can smoke in the bar area. Exceptions are also made to bring your dog to eat with you. Great."

"If I could give them a zero stars, I would. I can’t tell you about the food or the drinks because my boyfriend and I were never served. We walked in, sat at a table, and waited 8 minutes. Another couple walked in, were acknowledged, and served right away. One server made eye contact with me then promptly looked away. The assumed owner of the bar was sitting with another table socializing. Super unprofessional. We were looking forward to watching the game and eating, but see ya!To respond to the owner who replied: you made it seem like we were being impatient. We weren’t. We were bluntly ignored. When we left to get a cab you came outside and sat down, smoked a cigarette, and watched us leave your establishment. There was no attempt to serve us or even say hello to us."
