"What a lovely time we had at the Essex! The service was excellent, and the food was very good too excellent. Unfortunately, unfortunately we had to sit outdoors but we got lucky with a beautiful evening. The outdoor speaker was a little loud, but the weight staff was happy to turn it down so we could hear each other better. The food was excellent, except that my halibut had too much Asian soy sauce sitting in the bottom, soaking up in the rice. And my spring salad was almost exactly what I got for vegetables in my halibut dish, so it was a little bit redundant. they did serve a creamy asparagus soup that was out of this world. We will definitely come back."

"I had just lunch there and it was very fantastic thanks to our great host and server, benjamin! we had everything you can eat for $22 / per person. many of the appetizer choices including tofu suppe, japchae, bone in chicken legs and my favourites, steamei. I will return only for steaming alone because of the silky smooth texture of the egg. no pictures because I burned it down. next to rice we also get salat (what in the rule an additional fee in some restaurants that we were) and a delicious pineapple sauce. the restaurant was very clean, lots of parking and children friendly choices. again I would like to praise benjamin because he has explained our options. the service was fast and he would regularly check us and offer us to change our cook grill. Just remember that when they get ayce, their whole party must take part. bring her phone so they can scan the QR code to see the menu. will return!"

"I've been to MOA a number times by now, and all I can say is that this is THE most comprehensive, modern Korean restaurant in Charlotte. From first class KBBQ, to specialized appetizers and entrees, MOA does it all. MOA is not only a locally owned restaurant in Charlotte, but it has 2 sister restaurants in Columbia MOA Columbia and 929 Kitchen and Bar. Believe me, all three are well worth trying!"

"Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Yukgaejang (spicy beef soup), and it arrived steaming hot! The packaging was excellent and kept the cold condiments at the perfect temperature as well. I also appreciate that the noodles were packed separately; it’ll make it easier to enjoy again tomorrow!"

"We paid over $100 per person to get ridiculed. First, when we were sitting, someone from the table behind us threw a glass of wine on me, they were super drunk and they immediately got up and escaped (laughing). No one stopped them. I was soaking wet and it even got to our coats. Then, a tattooed waitress with glasses came and asked for our ids (we are all over 21) and laughed at us and said “I can’t accept these ids” and told us they were fake. She then went next to her friends and they all caused a scene, analyzing us, trying to figure out whether we are underage or not. Her manager came after a while and said the ids were real and offered us drinks in return of me showering in wine and sitting there soaking wet. NEVER AGAIN THIS WAS HORRIBLE."

"I ordered from Chicken Day a couple times, today is the worse. the inside of the restaurant is always empty when I come so for the most part it's clean. It's well lit. The service is quick and there isn't much hassle but there is a minimum card charge if you're paying with card. I don't recommend the shrimp fried rice I initially thought it would come with egg and shrimp how a traditional egg fried rice with shrimp does but that isn't the case. In fact it's just some small shrimp like the ones you find in a cup of noodles in a CUP OF NOODLES!!: Super disappointed and a scam for my money. I don't recommend the friend chicken with bone. it is not well cooked when you get to that middle part you're hit with a lot of grease and oil trapped in the middle part of the chicken. I got sick from eating here. I paid $50 for my food and honestly I'll never be coming back it was a complete mess and waste of my money. I feel like I was robbed. Hopefully you'll eat somewhere else and not here consider my post as a health hazard review. I did end up getting sick and this is the last time I buy food from here. Be careful people."

"We were able to get in for a reservation for 6 which was great. They had a loud party in part of the restaurant that clearly they should have closed for because the dj took over all of the speakers, it was so loud we couldn’t talk at our table. It was so loud we received the “it’s too loud” notification from our Apple Watch. It was ridiculous. We ordered, then about 20-25 min later the server came back and told two of our party they didn’t have the dish they ordered. Then one of us who got their food last, received the salad only, then waited and waited for their pasta dish. We had to get to a show so had to rush… it was a terrible experience. The server was nice but as they continued to turn the music up and up during each song, he kept saying, “I can’t hear you I’m sorry” but then turn it down then if you can’t hear us! If you can’t hear us, we definitely can’t hear each other. We will never return. The food was fine though, but not worth returning for."

"We had an excellent dining experience at Billiken's this evening. First of all, the building is impressive and has a rich history. Secondly, our server was both friendly and attentive. And last but definitely not least, the food was delicious. We ordered a pulled chicken sandwich, a three-meat sampler platter, and a pulled chicken platter. For sides, we chose mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. They also offered a great variety of sauces! While it's not the most budget-friendly option, it was worth every penny."
