"I visited Scarlett Oak Tavern for the first time after hearing great things about it, and finally had the chance to try it for myself. I started with the cornbread, which was light but lacked flavor and was slightly dry. The butter helped improve it. The Jumbo Crab Cake, on the other hand, was excellent - perfectly crusted and delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed with the pot pie as it only had a top layer and the chicken was overcooked and bland. The dessert, a warm Bread Pudding with dates and almonds topped with caramelized crust and vanilla ice cream, was tasty. Overall, Scarlett Oak Tavern is a good restaurant, but I would skip the pot pie next time."
