"This place was a buzz today! That was my first inkling lunch was going to be good. First the beverages... My sweet tea was AMAZING! It had a underlying taste I couldn't identify, but I loved it! We had the steamed dumplings to start. Very good and fresh; not chewy like some I have had in the past. Our egg drop soup and spring roll arrived next. Wasn't crazy about the egg drop. They put bits of chicken in theirs and it wasn't very hot. I can do without the chicken. I felt it gave a strange texture. I was hoping for more of the typical thick egg texture. The spring roll was a little too well done and they only give a tiny amount of sauce drizzled over it. I had to request more sauce, during a busy lunch rush, which caused me to wait longer than I wanted to eat my roll. For our entrees, we shared the Chili Basil and the Red Curry plates. Very good and filling. Both had a red pepper to indicate spicy, but the Chili Basil wasn't very spicy; the Red Curry was on point. All in all, the lunch was good. It was very busy, so the service was a little slow and could have used a tad more friendliness. My tea was not filled until requested and we had to wait awhile for our check to come after requested. I will go back. They have a full menu of items I'd like to try. The Pad Thai looked good. $35.00 (without tip) for 2 to dine."
