Our usual spot recently closed, so we were on the hunt for a new sushi place and discovered Koisan. I was very impressed by the quality and variety of sushi they offer. The decor, while a bit dated, is cozy and authentically Japanese. The staff are knowledgeable about their offerings and the origin of the fish. They provided great recommendations for sake pairings and the freshest fish of the day. The sauces were a standout feature, particularly the secret sauce and ponzu. The rolls with sashimi and nigiri were flavorful without being overpowering. If you're looking for a cozy and relaxed sushi experience with attention to detail, Koisan is the place to go.
