"I have to say, my husband and I have LOVED this place for years. We come to stay at Mariemont a couple times a year and The National Exemplar is the biggest reason for that. Last night was the first negative experience we've had here. The service was absolutely terrible for us. There was a young lady that waited on us. When we ordered my husband specifically asked if they had A1 steak sauce. The girl told us she wasn't sure. They had it the last time we were there several months ago. She never came back to let us know either way so I assumed they did. We both ordered filets. When another young man brought our food out, my husband asked again. The young man said no they did not, but there was bordelaise sauce on it. We would not have left because they did not have it, but he would've ordered something different. I love their bordelaise sauce, but he is just partial to his A1. And unfortunately, not having it makes it not as good for him. After that, the waitress did come over a few seconds later, we said everything was fine. We ate our dinner and did not see her again. We ran out of our drinks, which there is no excuse for. After we were done eating completely she came back and I asked for a couple new cokes please. When she brought them out, she removed our straws with her hands, never asking me to remove my own and put them in the new cokes. I truly hope that is not common practice. The wait staff should never be touching someone's straw. I just asked for the check at that point. She brought it out, but did not come to pick it up. I wanted to place a Togo dessert order but felt it was futile to try. Eventually, an older woman, possibly the manager came to our table and took our check. We do not mind paying for exceptional food, but that should also include exceptional service. We were very disappointed with the unfriendly and unpleasant attitude of someone who is supposed to be making our dining experience better. I hope she was just having a bad day and that this is not how she serves all her customers. "Excellent ! We loved the food and drinks! Innovative and interesting menu and the dishes are as tasty as they sound. Four of us shared a sampler starter plate, mantoo, a vegetarian plate, and beef kofta kabob with saffron rice. The portions were plentiful but not huge and had distinctive balanced flavors. We will be back!"

"The avena de coco is phenomenal the rest of The food was just ok. The service was terrible. Took 35 minutes to get our check, and it wasn’t even our original server. My dad asked for a different mug for his coffee, he wanted black coffee the second time he originally had cafe con leche), but everyone just turned away and said no. I’m assuming it was because he had to pay which we were totally ok with), but they flat out said no and had thee worst attitude in life. There should be more urgency in checking people out so the line isn’t out of the door for a table. This place has soooo much potential, but definitely need to do some staff training."

"We wanted to find an easy place near our hotel on the night before catching an early flight out of town. Described as a gem of a place, this seemed promising. A quick look through the menu provided on the Open Table site gave us some solid options as a reasonable price. In the end, I felt as though the description of the restaurant on Open Table and the actual place were worlds apart. This is a glorified kitchen attached to a room where complementary breakfast is served each morning to the Sheraton guests. The space was dark. The menu was extremely scaled back from the menu online, and I found myself searching to try to find the best option. The guacamole was not good--maybe a mix with some avocado pieces thrown in for good measure? Our salads were basic and perfectly good, so in the end it was fine, and our waitress was delightful. I just think it is important to not overstate this place--this is no hidden gem."

"The cutest coffee shop! Inside is almost like a boutique with jewelry, drink ware, hats, candles, soap, etc. They not only serve coffee drinks but also food, with everything from biscuits, croissants, bagels, to omelettes and French toast. Their lattes all come with 2 shots of espresso regardless of size. We ordered a medium iced caramel latte and a small iced honeybee latte, which has toasted marshmallow syrup and honey. I would definitely recommend getting the smaller size if you don't like your coffee too milky. My boyfriend also ordered a sausage and cheese biscuit. The biscuit itself is huge, fluffy, and flaky. A perfect biscuit! It was very good. I got the cinnamon roll. I brought it home and heated it up in the microwave for 20 seconds and it was HEAVENLY. So soft and gooey and delicious. I already want to go back for another. If you're going to get anything, get the cinnamon roll!!"

"Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever gotten out and one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time! The cinnamon roll was HUGE, light, and flaky. "Whatever poor reviews I saw before attending restaurant have been turned around completely. The food was amazing my group had duck, mahi mahi and chicken. When duck ran out, I was offered filet in its place... To be honest, the choose your sauce thing is kinda gimicky since the food was prepared so well you didn 't really need/want the sauce to alter the taste (although spiced up the chicken dish) but was an interesting experience. Drinks were really well made. Service was available whenever needed (chef even came out to make apologies for shortage of duck) would have expected a less casual waitstaff for the atmosphere, but were friendly regardless."

"I recently moved to Saint Peter's in September and still have a lot to explore since I travel frequently for work. In search of a good place to eat, I usually head to St. Louis for more options. However, this time I decided to try a local spot. The restaurant was charming and had a simple, traditional breakfast that was freshly made and delicious. The service was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique purple haze lemonade I tried instead of my usual coffee. The seating was limited, but worth the wait if necessary. Luckily, we were seated quickly and our food arrived promptly. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant."

"My boyfriend and I had the 6 course tasting menu. We arrived just after 6:30 and one of the first tables to be seated. Goodstone takes slow eating to an extreme. We were one of the last tables to leave at 10:30 pm. Courses were 30 minutes apart, and I think this was on purpose and not because the kitchen was too busy. All the other tables seemed to gotten the fixed price meal and were in and out. After a while, I was tired and a little bored (not a statement against my boyfriend but it’s a long time just to be sitting there). The waiter even noticed and apologized. Perhaps if it was a large group of people, this would have been acceptable timing. But for 2 people, 4 hours was extreme and I wish I had known before selecting the tasting menu. Other than the timing, the meal was lovely. The wine list was extensive and I found the perfect wine for the evening. (At $110 a bottle, I tried to make it last through the evening, which was difficult at 4 hours). The beet salad was a nice start. My favorite was the sunchoke soup and slow poached lobster. The flavors were amazing. The pheasant was good, but a little dry. Loved the croquette that accompanied the meal, wish there was more than one. The P’tit Basque cheese course was delicious. The apple cake for dessert was a little difficult to cut with a fork, and they had taken the knives away. (So it wasn’t melt in your mouth moist but good). I loved the little extra chocolates they gave at the end. It was delicious! So was the oyster at the beginning. I struggled with the rating as the whole timing made the evening drag on and the food seemed underwhelming towards the end. Perhaps a warning that the tasting menu would take so long would have changed our minds."

"Deerfield is a stunning Golf and Country Club. David Quinn, their wedding planner, is simply the best. Everything went flawlessly for the bride and groom. David took charge and remained in control throughout the event. Every second, minute, and hour was perfectly accounted for. The dinner was delicious, and the servers were excellent. "This was our first time to Deerfield for their Easter Buffet, and it was a surprisingly delightful experience. We had a lovely table by the windows in front of the outdoor fountains. Our waitress took our cocktail order immediately and provided very attentive service. The array of dishes offered and the quality of preparation was very good. I loved the carving station, including Wagyu beef, rack of lamb, and more. My husband enjoyed all the seafood, including clams, ahi tuna, and shrimp. There was a Belgian waffle station, omelet station, and a dessert bar with delectable mini tarts, cheesecake, pie, more. There was something for everyone, whether you wanted breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The roaming Easter Bunnies with baskets was a nice treat for the kids. We will definitely return, maybe for their Mothers Day brunch next month."

"While the menu special changes regularly, I have never had a bad meal here. All the dishes are tasty, creative while comforting somehow, and well prepared. Portion sizes are good, and the coffee is among the best in town. There is a small patio that has some trumpet vine growing, creating a beautiful quaint environment. New Mexico at it's finest.All this said, the service is wonderful. Personalized, caring and friendly is what you can expect, even on a busy afternoon. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert. I'm a big sweet snob, and they've got champion contenders in the mix. Tiramisu and strawberry shortcake to name a couple.I can't recommend this place enough. Catch it on the weekends or a taco Tuesday when it's opened."

"I usually enjoy chophouses, but the steak I received was really disappointing. I ordered the Delmonico, which is supposed to be 14 ounces. While I know it’s a ribeye, I expected more than just a small portion of actual steak; it was mostly fatty. Additionally, my food arrived in completely unsealed to-go containers, with no bag, making it impossible to ensure the food was safe to eat. For nearly $100 for a single meal, I expected much better quality. To avoid disappointment, I would recommend ordering from a different restaurant."
