"The drive-thru experience was disappointing; they never seem to get my order right. When I called to speak with the manager, the person who answered passed me to a new employee who had just started their first day. It felt like a scene straight out of a movie, like the spaghetti scene from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"—it was both surprising and amusing. "I have been a loyal customer of Jack in the Box since 1983. Last night, around 9:30 to 9:45 PM, my wife and I went to the dining room only to find the door locked. My wife suggested we use the drive-thru instead. As she turned to head back to the car, she noticed a petite woman cleaning the soda machine. I believe her name is Alondra. She kindly assured us that the drive-thru was open, which was a relief because I was very hungry! I appreciated her attention to detail while cleaning the soda machine; it was truly refreshing to see someone take such pride in their work."

"3.5 stars for the declining quality of meat and the mechanical handling of pre-made food that meets U.S. standards. 4.5 stars for the hardworking staff in a challenging and crowded environment. This particular Jack in the Box has consistently met my expectations. However, I sympathize with the moms working overnight next to a cold drive-thru window, facing what are clearly outdated conditions. The food maintains the consistent quality associated with Jack in the Box. It's worth noting that food quality has generally declined across most fast-food establishments, and overall restaurant costs have increased with a weakened U.S. dollar. I genuinely appreciate those dedicated workers who manage a job that few of us could handle in real life. Regarding cleanliness and the quality of food served, I would say they are doing their best given the circumstances. I usually order breakfast sandwich meals, flagship Big Burger meals, desserts, and milkshakes, so this gives you an idea of the basis for my review. Cheers!"

"Took my family today. Have my receipt from 4:19 PM. And to think at the first of the year in 2024 fast food service employees will be making $20 an hour in California. This is definitely failure from management. "This was unfortunately my last time trying to attempt to order food from this jack in the box. Over the past year and a half of living in the area this is probably the 9th time I've came to this store and they're literally out of pretty much everything. Then when I finally ordered and got to the window I was met with the unwanted news that what I did order was also out of stock. How is it that y'all are out of stock all the time? Has this lesson not been learned. Ive glanced through the reviews and I'm not the only one that's having this issue. So then after finding out they're out of pretty much half of what I ordered. They handed me one of the two chocolate milkshakes I had ordered , it looked like absolutely garbage whatever I got looked like it was put together by a toddler I ended up tossing out, but our story isnt done. The card reader was beyond repair from the looks of it. When the reader was handed to me I tried my card. The card reader was having communication errors. As the employee was scrounging to get the thing working I'm watching. The cord looked as if 6 rats had, had they're way with it. About two feet of cord that I could see was wrapped in various different electrical tapes in different spots, and the rest was bare wire. After him retreating to grab the manager he tried resetting the card reader for the third time I was done. No food, poor service, faulty equipment, and repetitive issues. Negative stars review. "The “KIDS” running the drive thru at this place are “ DISGUSTING!” I usually leave great reviews but this time it was a really bad experience to the point where they put a “HAIR!” On my curly fries . We waited 10 minutes on the drive thru and when i told them why they left us waiting for so long they said that i had just pulled in and that the sensor didn’t see me, when actually as soon as we pulled in a girl said “ one sec, we’ll be right with you” after 5 minutes we said “HELLO!” And after 10 minutes we called them again and they were all being rude and trying to tell me that i was a lier when they have cameras and can see the 5 cars behind us. On our way on the freeway we found a hair on our food. And i swear this is not a lie. They did it on purpose. “DISGUSTING”. This was on 09/01/23 at 9:20 pm."

"I had an issue with my order and the “manager“ on duty was not willing to Help unless I drove all the way over there. He offered me free French fries for an entire order being messed up. When asked who the manager was the next day so I could discuss this with them he refused to answer. Not only was he rude to me, he hung up on me and refused to answer the phone after that! Customer service is awful and food is never prepared accurately (I’m 3/3 for food not prepared accurately or, even worse, a health risk to those who ate the food provided! Avoid this location as much as possible!! Their employees and managers don’t care and neither does corporate (or else the managers and employees would NOT act like this to their values customers or anyone because there would be consequences . my husband worked for Foodmaker Inc for many years and anyone under him who acted as such would not still be with our company. "I was taking a stroll and just felt like getting some onion rings (I love a good onion ring) so I searched up where I could get some and went in here. I haven 't been in Jack in the Box despite living just a few blocks away. The interior is quite quaint, with just a few seats and tables to eat at. The man who took order was very friendly. I asked for one order of onion rings and nothing else. He offered me fries for free. I glanced and noticed a mound of fries, both regular and curly, in fryer baskets suspended over the fryer. He was probably just trying to get rid of them so they didn 't have to go to waste. I said no thanks but he asked again, so I said no thanks again. He stopped insisting so I paid and got the receipt. The onion rings were $4.99 but because of a city health fee thing and tax, they turned out to actually be $5.58. I waited for a while and got my bag of what I thought were just onion rings. He said 'have a good day ' and I replied 'you too. ' Great service. I looked inside the bag and there were two little satchel bag things (I 'm not familiar with Jack in the Box sizes), one with regular fries and the other with curly fries. I got home and tried the three types of crispy sides. They were all warm. The onion rings weren 't onion-y at all and the onions pulled out of the crispy batter part. There weren 't any dips or sauces or napkins. I won 't be having those onion rings again unless I 've been hypnotized. The fries and curly fries were just alright. Well, for the price, they were the best thing ever (they were free) because I 've never had free fries. Overall, the food is just okay. The onion rings suck though. The service is outstanding however, which is why I 'm giving four stars. These are good people."

"I visit this place quite often. The staff is generally nice, although it's not quite the level of service you get at Chick-fil-A, but I suppose it is fast food. I'm writing this review because I visited over the weekend and ordered a Smash Jack, which was excellent. However, I also ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich that was absolutely terrible. They slathered a huge amount of sauce on both sides of the bun, making the sandwich soggy and greasy. I couldn't even finish it; I took one bite and had to throw it away. I spent nearly $20 on two sandwiches and a medium fry. At that price, I'd rather go to Taco Bell, which is in the same plaza. It wasn't busy during my visit, so I'm puzzled by the inconsistency at this location. (Just a heads up, I worked at Jack in the Box for three years, so I'm familiar with what the food quality standards should be.)"

"EDIT 2: Went to go use my voucher today. Drove around back to to find an employee (a line cook possibly) smoking next to the wide open service door that leads to the kitchen. Didn't place an order and drove off. EDIT: Was finally contacted by Corporateto see what happened, a refund was mailed to me in the form of a voucher. ORIGINAL: Absolute trash. Manager was super combativeeven after she had admitted she was wrong and still refused to refund me for the items that were missing from the order.Submitted multiple inquiries to try and get the money back from these missing items and (not to be funny) have not heard Jack...Would love someone to contact me to get this sorted out, but I am running out of options."

"Ordered from jack in the box last night, the drinks were perfectly fine, filled with ice up and soda up to the brim. All the food had no problems with them, next morning I am on my way to throw out the leftovers to find a USED lid in my soda. Mind you, i only ordered two drinks, the lid is crumpled, concluding the fact that it was intentional.
