"Lots of recommendations from the local NSU football parents to try this place. Came on a Friday night at 8pm. No wait, plenty of tables. Greeted by a friendly host who sat us at our table. Ordered a smoky old fashion. sooooooo good. Appetizers were chargrilled oysters and gator bites. Had to try something new like gator. Tastes like chicken. Really yummy. Chargrilled oysters were good but a bit salty. They needed Tabasco but we were told they don’t have any. Isn’t that a Louisiana thing? Dinner was shrimp grits for the boys, Cajun pasta for me. Shrimp grits were good. Again, needed Tabasco. They do have Louisiana hot sauce but not the same. Cajun pasta had good flavor but was really salty. I said something to the waitress and her only reply was “yes, as we get older we need to watch our salt consumption.” Um, ok! No room for dessert but they did sound amazing! Next time I’ll bring my own Tabasco because we WILL be back often!"
