"I was craving Chinese food, so I decided to give Lucky Star a try. To my delight, they delivered my food in less than 30 minutes. The dishes were delicious and had a unique flavor that I really enjoyed. The service was great, they even provided extra spice for my soup upon request. The dishes were well-balanced and the fried dumplings were a standout with a tasty filling of chicken and pork paired with a sweet soy sauce. The Hunan beef was cooked to perfection with crisp vegetables and a flavorful sauce. I am looking forward to trying more of the Lucky Star menu, which includes Thai and Japanese options in addition to Chinese cuisine. I feel fortunate to have discovered this hidden gem."

"I deducted a star due to the limited parking in the area. This restaurant is located behind Seton Hall University on Irvington Avenue, across from Blue Ocean Chinese, which I do not recommend. I've been visiting Tung Tin since the late 1990s when I was a student at SHU. I've seen health inspectors come into the kitchen for checks, which gives me confidence in their food practices and cleanliness. Tung Tin is my go-to for Chinese food — they are quick and the food is always fresh. I've never had a bad meal here, and the staff has always been friendly. As long as I'm craving Chinese food, this is the place I'll return to."

"we loved the order of eating from here, but last time we ordered that eating is not the same. something changed. I'm not sure if they are sold to someone else or if they cook new people, but it's completely different and nowhere near as good as it was once. the “Pork-Frittenreis” is lawfully pure brown rice with a few pigeons. it tastes like it's 5 minutes instant rice. what a huge swallow. that was our way to find for Chinese."

"I ordered catering for a large party and ran into several issues. When we picked up the food, the owner attempted to charge us an additional $100 beyond what we had initially agreed upon. The food containers were barely filled, and we didn’t have enough to serve our guests. When we approached the staff for assistance, they were very rude and unhelpful. We've been loyal customers for years and have always enjoyed our meals here, so this experience was incredibly disappointing. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back."

"Honestly, this is the worst experience I have ever had ordering from a restaurant. I made the big mistake of placing the order online. I immediately called them to say that I wanted to get the dinner Bar B Qued but I didn’t see it as an option. They literally said ok and hung up on me. I got there and the lady yelled at me. They acted as if they had no clue what I was talking about. Yelled at each other. Then, looked at me with a disgusting look basically saying they don’t speak English can’t understand a word I am saying. Then, after 3-4 min of this they said we don’t BBQ. I said ok then. The lady yelled at me again and I still have no clue what she said either time. The Man the day both continued to yell at each other speaking a different language. I’m not sure if it was Japanese but if it was it was a dialect I’m not familiar with. I said ok did u out a fork in the bag she pointed at the counter and guess what was sitting on the Comintern? The hot sauce you use to BBQ. So I’m not sure what that is about. I do not recommend this place at all. I am left in utter confusion still sitting in my car out side the restaurant trying to process what just happened. I really can’t wrap my brain around the encounter I just had. I felt like I was for sure in some foreign country they didn’t welcome outsiders especially not Americans. The place is sketchy as hell too. I can’t be the only one that has had an issue like this. There has to be more. Vegetarian options: I don’t know for sure but I do know they have vegetables. But I’m not sure if they are cooked on the same grill as the meat. Or if that is an issue. Parking: There isn’t much parking. The parking lot has 2 spots reserved for Nagano Customers Only. Then, the rest belongs to a Smoke Shop a bar that both stay open really late."
